I'm a sucker, I ended up paying the $100 extra to upgrade to V9. So V9 + Pigments for $200. Still a good deal but not quite as insanely good as V8 + Pigments for the original $100. Oh well, the new synths and upgraded synths sound amazing so it's worth it!

I'm pretty syked, I used this to get the $49 Pigments. V-Collection 8 + Pigments for $100. . . that's a GOOD DEAL

Pleased to report that I just received my serial # and unlock code and it worked on Arturia's website!

Definitely not. I've been there before and it appears different. Hijacked?
Even the math is wrong on that product.
Maybe we're seeing different sites? When I go there it seems normal and has a valid SSL certificate and secure connection. The math is fine as well. I'm in the US.
After placing the order I got an order confirmation email that is pretty normal as well. Just waiting on the serial number.

i placed my order. shows up as waiting to process on pp and cc site. i can't log into the Prostar site anymore.. when i finally got in.. it shows no orders placed. no emals yet from them. i ain't gonna deal with them. too weird. too many red flags.
Fair enough! I'm waiting for my S/N still. I'm guessing it's a small operation and there's probably one or two people divvying out the serial #'s as they process the orders. If I don't see anything today I'll contact them. I paid with Paypal so worst case I file a claim.

Out of curiosity what about it looks weird and not right?

I think they have been around for quite a long time. . . did something happen? I placed an order this morning and used Paypal to pay.

Why was that thread posted this morning completely removed?

When do you get crackles and pops? And you have the correct ASIO driver selected in Cakewalk? Could it be clipping or something being set too loud?

I actually have a number of unregistered serials (doubles) left going for pretty little:
VIP3 serial, Hybrid3 serial, Xpand!2 serial, Vacuum Pro serial, Strike serial, Structure serial , Velvet2 serial
AIEP3 Select bundle serial
(DB-33, Mini Grand, Hybrid 3 , Loom, Strike 2, Structure 2, Transfuser 2, Velvet 2, Vacuum Pro & Fresh AIR Pack, theRiser & Flux Transitions)Basically the whole package lol

I own this but didn't bother reinstalling after I formatted my computer. I do have fond memories of Hybrid 3 and Vacuum Pro, but with it needing iLok and having individual installers it's kinda not worth the hassle. Is anyone still using these to make music?

Wow this is unusual

Nooooooo my wallet really does not appreciate this!!!

Well, they added Orchestral Strings last year and Orchestral Woodwinds now, so I’m hoping for Orchestral Brass next.
Seems logical

Every release I get hyped about it, reinstall it and convince myself now I'll use it, then decide everything is so much more convoluted than other DAWs why am I bothering with the hassle and delete it

Lee - with the zillion low cost preset packs - a wide range of styles are available with Spire, not just Trance.
Sometimes I think of Spire as like having Vengeance Avenger-level amazing sounds - without all the out of control automation. Of course when I want all that pre-programmed out of control goodness I have Avenger or Dune.
But to have great sounds at the fingertips and not need to turn off a bunch of automation, and at a very economical price, Spire always comes through for me with great sounds (and easily favoriteable presets). So I use it often.
Thanks I'm still thinking about it... I have Bitwig and Rapid so I don't know if this would be overlapping too much... Also I do more like chill r&b stuff, not trance...

I only ever hear spire mentioned alongside of Trance, why is that?

Any buyers regret?

Must resist... I have bought and sold V Collection like 3 times already im the last lol. Still, so tempting... I own a Arturia Keylab MK2 so it's $199 for V Collection

Albion One is more geared to "easy production", whereas BBC is a Full Orchestra. If you want
to get into Orchestration, BBC is the way to go. If you just want to add Orchestral elements to
current productions, or easy productions, then A1 is the wayThanks. Sounds like I might get more use from A1. Is A1 at $200 a smart buy versus other stuff out there?

Obligatory bitching about the upgrade price even though it has been this way for the past decade and should shock no one
