Could they be broadcast wave files?
If so, the data may be far to the right on the timeline.
There is a setting to change this behavior called Always Import Broadcast Waves at Their Timestamp
Thank u scook, I unchecked always import broadcast waves at their timestamp, and all is well now, thanks for your help.

Yes sure there's data in the source files, I can even audition them, also get them to work in another DAW..

I'm trying to use Drums On Demand multitrack in cakewalk by bandlab, when I drag in the multitracks, it creates all the necessary tracks, but no waveform and no sound. Can someone please help?

Is it just me, or does studio one do something unpleasant to the bottom end.
I've tried other DAW's but I keep coming back to Cakewalk.

You are missing the presets. Something may have prevented the installer from installing them - maybe a permissions issue.
Reboot your system and rerun the installer (you may have to first run the rollback). You should see a few hundred presets there if it properly installs.ok thank you will try that..

For legibility, it would have been better to just grab a snapshot of regedit instead of the entire screen but it's pretty clear the PC presets are not there. Looks like the presets for "half rack" plug-ins ported from Project 5 are the only ones listed.
sorry I'm not very computer literate

@Carl P Clovis only thing that comes to mind is that somehow the installer failed to update the presets.
Open the registry editor app and go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Cakewalk Music Software\ActiveMovie\Presets
Take a screenshot of what you see there. You should see more than a page of presets listed.

Which PC module(s)?
Here is what the default preset lists looks like for the PC4K S-type bus compressor
I tried different modules, all I get is the top portion which says save preset, delete preset, copy and paste settings, everything else seems to work fine

I can't find the pc presets, when I click on the icon it says no presets

I found my new favorite theme, many thanks Matthew..

An internet collaboration where the tracks used were mainly mp3's & zero room correction back then. Still a demo but trying to get it to translate across systems better than it did.
That's beautiful, my kinda music...More, More...

If Chuck E Baby's tip doesn't work, try increasing your buffer size from 128 to maybe 256, can even go as high as 512, as long as it's workable...

I just looked at his member profile back at the old place and it looks like he only posted once since 2008 and that was in 2017! Do I think he's gone? Yep. 😉
I see what you did there, lol... Yep shared a lot of cool tidbits....

Yep? used to be a guy on the old sonar forum, by the name of Yep, anyone knows what happened to him?
I learned quite a few things from him....
