Mighty Fine Pickin ! Very well recorded. You stirred me with this.. Twangy bass worked nicely . ?? Piano could come back more. I'm probably listening to the version after the adjustment. Loved it .. mark

Subvibe , Another Cool production from you. I really liked the surprising sections that came in , like at 0:58. I absolutely Loved the slow down section from 1:16 to 2:30. The vibe and guitars there were awesome. The fast section that came in after it from 2:30 to 2:45 , I would for sure drop that out . The slow section would transition nicely to 2:46. Anyway .. I sure enjoyed it . Have a good vacation ! mark
  3. Welcome Roger , There is a "massive" online documentation file you can download . I'm sure the help menue can lead you to online documentation , instead of downloading it . Honestly , I would just google Cakewalk by Bandnlab basics or getting started. There is also a tutorial section on "this" forum you can look through. Several members here do Very helpful Youtube videos for this Daw. Half the time if I Google a question about a technical problem I'm having , it will link me straight to this forum to a post about my problem. Best of luck .. mark
  4. Cool .. I loved the break guitar and the rattle snake shaker! I was really wanting to hear a bass note on the 1 beat , but I feel what you were going for. Yeah .. guitars themselves are sexy. Don't know if it's the neck , body or sometimes the G string .. mark
  5. This thread prompted me to check my folder. I've used melodyne quite extensively on my last two projects. My pc stays "offline" and my seperations folder was empty.. ms
  6. Scroll down and you can remove the popup.
  7. Opened CbB on my "offline" pc this morning. I was greeted with a screen about the new Sonar and a link to learn more about it. At least I'm seeing some movement .. I guess it will be popping up from now on . ?? ms
  8. I Really enjoyed this one. As Bruce said the kick and bass are working Very well. I also liked the wobbly synth part. I think there are a few things to clean up on the vocals , but a Very nice mix. Enjoyed it .. mark
  9. Well , this is "one" of my genres , and I think it is a killer song and a Seriously good mix. I enjoyed the journey and appreciate all the work and rework done to get it to completion. Ditto .. mark
  10. Very entertaining . Congrats on your project ! Keep us in the loop when it airs . Loved the video , I'll be walking that way from now on.. mark
  11. Truly enjoyed the song even with the very scary and true message. We're our own worse enemy.. mark

Sounds like a classic Glenn. Great energy thru the entire song ! I Loved the fuzzy lead guitar, and the backing choir vocals They came in inthe perfect spot and weren't overused. Very impressive production. Loved it .. mark
  14. Jack , that was Very Nice . Smoooth .. I feel like I've been waiting patiently to hear one from you like this. I knew you had the skills to pull it off. Pretty cool section around 2:46 and Loved the section after it. Fantastic production .. mark
  15. It would be Real nice if someone placed an Activation , re-Activation "sticky" at the top of this page . Not that everyone would read it , but it's getting old seeing the same question every couple of days. ms
  16. Not in a good listening enviroment right now , but it sounds Nice ! Love the harmony and the main vocal presentation. Enjoyed it .. mark
  17. Christopher , Spitfire Labs has a free Uilleann Pipes instrument. (Irish Bagpipes). It has FX and controls for the drones . They sounds pretty decent if you don't pay attention to the main audio sample they use. Watch seperate videos about it. I have real bagpipes hanging on the wall. They're a nightmare to play.. mark
  18. SubVibe , this has got your Nice signature EQ and panning. Loved the electric piano. The horns were a nice touch as well. Enjoyed it my friend. mark
  19. Loved the laid back feel of this. Fantasic vocals ! I Really liked the backing female vocals. Very soulful gospel like sound. Enjoyed it .. mark
  20. Sjoens , so .. yours is going to half it's length and mine is going to twice it's length. Seems it should be pretty straight forward detecting only 4 beats in a measure. Weve both got something set wrong. I haven't tried doing it again since starting this thread , but I'm sure the time is coming soon. Get back to me if you figure out why the detection isn't working properly. mark
  21. Hi Charles , I normally split the tracks up. I'll split up verses , chorus , bridge and sometimes just parts of them. It's especially handy if you are going to do any copying and pasting . (like on a bass part). Then you only have to do it once. I've also found that I start getting sloppy in a long melodyne session. I normally do it as I go to keep the final editing from getting so long and tedious. ms
