@Bapu did you use Suno for the song? I agree that AI could be very useful as an idea generator or demo creator.

Not at my PC but pretty sure white is VST3.

Rap is the vocal style, hip hop is the music, some of the modern stuff is shockingly good , for example
That Ren video has been posted a few times - for, I feel, a good reason. It is great! Not my genre or taste but I really appreciate the artistry.

I've mentioned this YouTube Channel (The Story Of Sound) in prior posts - definitely think it's worth a look.
Anyway, this installment was very interesting... Comments?

Same happens for me. Click download/install and it seems like it installs but the update is still there as though it is not installed.

Paypal sounds like a good idea for plugin / software purchases - I'll have to try that going foward!
One thing I've ALWAYS done - and highly recommend if your credit card offers it - is to use a Virtual Card number for ANY subscription service. That allows you to set the maximum amount that can be charged, and in the case of those pesky annual subscription charges, you can set the allowed amount to $1 after the first charge. Then when they try to renew, it fails, and they email you, decide if you want to re-up. If you do, just adjust the allowable charge amount so it goes through.

I think she had the copyrights (correct me if wrong) and has been re-releasing all of the early albums as "Taylors Version" (brilliant move IMO). Maybe Big Machine realized they would eventually make less and less so decided to give up, take what they could get, and sell back to her?

Beautiful.
Got a hint of 'I Can't Help Falling In Love With You' in the melody.
Googled it, answer appears later.
Agree on 'I Can't Help Falling In Love With You' but the other parts are foreign to me - but they are beautiful. A little "Ave Maria" in there?

His *What makes this song great* series is an absolute gem. Worth watching every one them!

I was already subscribed, still am, and was busy listening to live electronic / synth / experimental music. Out of curiosity, what did he do for the three plus hours (or at least what you watched)? Curious if he played clips from previous content with added commentary, if he did live ear training, countdown lists--such his top 25 interviews, or what.
The part I saw he talked about his career as a producer and musician, some stories about famous artists he's met, played alongside and talked to, some music clips, interview highlights , etc.

He hit it yesterday late afternoon Eastern time. Was fun to watch. I think he was on about 3-4 hours, but I happened to catch the last hour or so and watched on and off until he hit 5M.

I'd think most members know of Rick, but maybe not? He is a great musician and educator. His "What makes This Song Great" series is absolutely wonderful, his interviews of artists are fabulous, his music theory videos are very informative, etc., etc. Highly recommended.
Just my opinion... -

Even if you're not a piano/keyboard player, this is worth a look. I've been following it for years and they have really upped their game in terms of technology - so easy to peruse the contestant performances, biographies, etc.
It's amazing (and humbling) to watch these young folks do amazing things at the piano... :^)-

@OutrageProductions, regarding your windows issue
"The only thing that still bugs me (and I'm working on recode) is that the Win Explorer always opens in a place where I don't want it (but I run 4 monitors) and can't yet change that. Not mission critical, but irritating."
I work with 3 monitors on my music PC and 5 on my work PC. Found a utility called "Persistent Windows" that I use on both. It remembers/restores all open windows to their proper location. Works for me - maybe it will help your situation.

It's amazing how musicians interpret things differently. I recorded this on one of my CDs years ago and felt it at a much slower, more somber pace. A snippet of mine is attached. Comments welcome!

I don't use CV, but I wish there could be multiple *track views* open, with different windows on to various sections, and each one had a separate toggle for "scroll lock" so I could see sections of projects I need to work on "together" (using one as a reference for another) without having to constantly rearrange my tracks and views.
(even if I had a whole wall that was a monitor, I couldn't fit everything I need all at once at the zoom level I need, so multiple separate independent views is the only way that would do what I really want).
I agree! Multiple Track View windows would be great as well!

I've always wondered how many tracks you could get on the console with the monitor flipped 90 degrees?
I've mentioned this on another thread as a Feature Request and hope it gets implemented (https://discuss.cakewalk.com/topic/81343-feature-request-multiple-console-windows/)
I'm probably an outlier, but I use (3) 4k TVs as monitors. It would be GREAT if you could have *multiple* Console Windows open at once - that would allow for LOTS of tracks (and busses) to be displayed, along with many plugins, etc. - especially with a monitor(s) in Portrait Mode:

I have a t-racks 5 license. Bought the upgrade for $29 but the key won’t register. Waiting to hear from my Sweetwater rep…
Just an FYI... I thought my T-Racks 5 CS would qualify but it didn't. Sweetwater (as usual) was great about it and gave me my $30 back. Debating whether to bite at $99 for T-Racks 6. Any opinions on T-Racks 6 welcome!
Is it lame music cartoon time again? I think "yes".
