I have Cakewalk Sonar 8. Long ago, I recorded many songs with a different synthesizer. I now have to change the instruments because they are not the same. I need for example to change what used to be a sax sound but is now a different sound. I now have a Yamaha MODX7 synthesizer. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I have a Yamaha EMX5014C mixer and am coming out of Stereo Out into Cakewalk but no signal is seen while trying to record. On the computer, when I plug the cord coming from Stereo Out into the computer, I chose Line In. Any help is appreciated.
