  1. Sorry I was busy building up my tracks.  My goal is to build a 10 drum patterns song using  Groove Monkee drum patterns and then learn how to synchronize my practicing skills according to these drum beats in a Ballad style.  So I have slowed it down to around 62bpm.  What is the most common tempo for a ballad or are there even types of different ballads?  After I through practice am able to synchronize so I am correctly responding to the feel.  I'm sure some type of rhythm section will pop outstanding  that  I can create the actual song from using lyrical assignments from Frank Sinatra and Bernie Taupin, because these writers are so diverse in what they write and it's hard to carry a conversation.  Like W.E.B. Du  Bois and how Duke Ellington wrote Black Brwn & Beige to accompany Du Bois  writing on "The souls of Black Folk".  So holding that as kind of an archetypal influence hopefully will lend me musical directions related to these.

  2. I have 10 drumbeats I am using for this song.  I am writing a separate part over each drum clip.  But I would like to insert  between  bars I tried Ctrl V but that pastes them  into my track and doesn't shift the other bars down.  What are the variations of paste, I couldn't find a paste that way?

  3. I like Peavey Revalver although I don't know if it is being updated any more (maybe BandLab should buy it.)  It might be the work of 1 person who is a genius.  But the thing I like about it is that the speakers are prepared showing you how to get different sounds off of them.   Amplitube gives you the same ability, but you have to have ideas about where speakers capture different frequencies.  In Peavey Revalver, this is pre-set for you and I think it makes things much easier.  Also the website describes the qualities that speakers share and so you learn how to listen and distinguish between  deep and broad, tight, vs jitter.  Stuff like that.   Peavey Revalver 4 amp store.  They also have a forum, but it's kind of dead because they haven't  improved it in 2 years or so.  (It doesn't mean it's a bad product,) just kind of abandoned.  Which is sad.  I found it less expensive at the time than Amplitube which you have to get the max to get everything otherwise you encounter nag signs at least that is what I've read.  Anyways there is also Guitar Rigg which is great.  But I think Revalver 4 is the most put together.

  4. Good News, I got the Mod to work, Thank you so much  James Argo.  Now I have to deal with aftertouch!  Is there anything such as a virtual aftertouch wheel?  People talk about drawing AT in, but I am unsure how to do that.  I have never used lanes, is there a specified lane for that and then you just set the values  note by note?  or is there an easier way to get it to function and onto different destinations, can they be reached Filters,  Sync, by keyboard shortcuts? or is this already too far out?

  5. I got the virtual keyboard to work with Omnisphere.  You have to open  virtual midi keyboard  first, then pick the VST you want to use.  What I am trying to do is create a  virtual Mod wheel, but I can't seem to figure it out.  Is there a set of key-strokes that can behave as a mod wheel?   Also I haven't been able to get both the virtual midi keyboard and the computer keyboard to display at the same time.

  6. Is it possible to create a virtual modwheel controller within the Virtual keyboard and virtual midi keyboard setups? I have tried 4 different methods and none of them work.  Alt sh 0, Alt 0,  midi yolk, midi ox and Bome midi translator classic and vmpk Virtual midi Piano Keyboard but can't make any of them setup a virtual  modulation wheel.  My controller keyboard doesn't have that function and I would like to be able to setup a virtual modulation wheel.    Thanks

  7. I had Synthmaster 2.9 and Synthmaster one working and when they stopped  I updated the plugIn, but now for the 10 time I'vce run the PlugIn installer they don't show up.  They are showing up in other Sequencers Reason and Reaper, but not in Cakewalk.  Any idea's   Also in Reason Omnisphere won't upgrade higher than the 2.4 version.  But it works perfect in Cakewalk, Any ideas.   Thanks in advance

  8. I created several tracks in Biab  most are midi as I want to use my VST's but they all come in at 120 tempo  and when I change the tempo to 80 they don't seem to follow the tempo. I want to add I need to delete the midi tracks that are imported in  when I create the instrument tracks.  If I leave the midi part there, I can't explain it but it throws the timing  off and the clock doesn't follow properly.
