  1. Not sure if anyone can clarify that the Sonitus plugins are 32 bit but I've just installed the older Focusrite drivers and my projects now load again with no missing plugins. Here's a link for anyone experiencing the same thing. Seems Focusrite keep getting the drivers wrong, had a similar issue with the version before the latest one as well so rolled back. https://drivers.softpedia.com/dyn-postdownload.php/9a0e7a03c17a08258225923402825636/5e3d256b/a0449/4/1
  2. Hey guys, Not sure if my problem this morning could be related to this? I just this morning updated the Scarlett 2i2 drivers and suddenly all my projects fail to load saying that the SonitusFX Delay & SonitusFX Compressor can't be found. These have been in all my projects quite happily until the drivers were updated? Going to find the version of driver 2 steps back which is the one I had been using and test this so will let you know. Thanks
  3. Thanks again for all the comments and help guys. In live terms I can't see it being too intensive, maybe using the sampling and a live arrangement of pre recorded sounds but most of our live sound is live analogue synths so they will just go in to my mixer. I had wondered if my current laptop might be okay so I can free up funds to improve the desktop. Current laptop is Intel Core i3-5010U @ 2.10GHz 12Gb RAM Windows 10
  4. Thanks for all your comments guys and mirroring what I already had in my head, sometimes you just need some people to agree. Idea eventually is to take out a live rig so do really need a laptop setup as well that can handle basic mixes and such. Is anyone using CbB for live performance and what's the minimum you would want to run for this kind of application? Thanks Matt
  5. Hi Guys, I'm maybe looking at increasing the spec of my main audio work station or adding a laptop for on site recording as well. Is anyone running CbB on a laptop and what spec is it? Ideally would be able to handle a lot more than my current rig which is listed below. Any information is much appreciated. Also life cycle on laptop vs desktop? I don't think I've ever owned a laptop that didn't become sluggish after a couple of years although it's a while since I last bought one. 6. Sorry guys, think I've figured this out now!!!
  7. Hi guys, Noticed something a little strange when exporting out my latest EP. I went to great detail in the mastering project getting all the tracks to finish at exactly 20:19:00 . Now if I export this out from start to this point with all the tracks in the project, like a continuous mix I do indeed get 20:19 as the track length. If however I export out all the tracks individually using the exact same markers I get tracks totalling 18:98. Has anyone any idea what would cause this? Markers and technique for exporting I'm sure are correct there seems to be something I'm missing. As always any help massively appreciated.
  8. Thanks to everyone for the posts here. Finally got round to getting jBridge on and working and sure enough it sorted out Arminator for me just fine. Can always rely on this community for some help.
  9. Hey guys, just popping this one back on here as it seems to still be relevant if a little less frequent. So basically at random points during a tracks production I (and others, confirmed in the old forums) have the output of what seems to be all the instruments tracks switch to the same instrument. This is a massive headache as if not noticed immediately due to editing other parts and such can really cause you to mess up the whole thing. I know other people have seen the issue and there seems to be no circumstances that lead up to it. Only way around ever seeing this as I can tell is to always use separate midi tracks routed to the instrument track, all good but takes up more of the screen real estate. Anyhow, hopefully a fix for this some day. Thanks
  10. Hey @msmcleod Thanks for that info, shall look in to JBridge now, never had to use it before. This is certainly something that could be better done within Cakewalk too I reckon.
  11. It's a focusrite scarlett 2i2 2nd gen and it's running ASIO.

    32 bit plugins

Hey guys, good to see so many of you from the old forums over here. Anyhow got a weird glitching on a plugin I'm trying to use, every time I send any midi note to the instrument there's a popping kind of sound. The only difference between this plugin (Arminator) and all the other I use is that it's 32 bit. I've cranked up the buffer size on the soundcard to 1024 and still I get this weird clicking. I can't think it's anything to do with the computer spec either as I can open round 15 instances of Xpand2 with absolutely no issues at all. Be great if someone knows any way to sort this as the sounds from the plugin are really good All comments appreciated.
