  1. Sale price notification functionality is now setup and working As you can see from the screenshot, you have a variety of options: Get notified when it hits a price that you specify Get notified when it hits a new historical low Get notified when there is any price drop Get notified when it hits its lowest recorded price again Additionally, you can choose how long to have the price notifications setup for so you can be notified: Just once For 1 week For 2 weeks For 1 month Until you delete the price notification When you setup any price notification tracking, you'll get an link via email to click on to verify the price notification tracking. After that its setup and you can click the link in your email at any time to manage your notifications and delete any from your list There are no "accounts" on the website - you just have a private URL for managing your price alerts (see screenshot) The next two things we're going to work on are: Improve design and layout of website Fix product categorisation/filtering Any feedback?
  2. Also, default front page is now randomised deals as suggested by another member on here (can't remember who) so you won't see 400 Waves deals one after another
  3. Still working on the sale price notification feature now. It will allow you to get an alert when the product does one of the following (you choose which one): 1. Hits a custom price that you choose 2. Has a new historical low price 3. Has any price drop 4. Hits the same lowest recorded price Hopefully people will find this useful. Are there any other features people would be interested in seeing? After this we can start improving the look and layout of the site.
  4. Added waves.com and soundiron.com for price history now. Also the price history page will show the lowest historical price as well as the latest sale price. We're now working on sale notifications so you can choose to be notified when it hits the lowest price, lower than the lowest recorded price, any price etc.
  5. Some more progress since our last post. We'velaunched the initial version of price tracking on the site now. Before I go further into this, I just want to clarify, everything on the site including functionality, design, layout, experience etc. is all "MVP" (minimal viable product) meaning it may not look very pretty, but it will work. We're doing it this way as its the fastest way to build upon the idea, continually iterating, adding new features, improving design etc. as we go. There are lots of things that don't work as expected such as filtering categories/sub-categories and multiple versions of products being listed (because one distributor might call something "Piano VST" and the other might just call it "The Piano VST" making it hard to merge into one "product name" in our database), but these are all expected on our end and we can fix them in time. The very first iteration of price tracking is now live on the site. You'll see a little "History" link over each deal icon and when you click on it, it will bring you to the price history for that product. While it may be missing some information for now for products that are on multiple stores (if the other stores call the product by a slightly different name - which will be fixed), its the first working version Here's an example for MAmp by Melda Production: https://musicsoftwaredeals.com/price-history/MAmp-by-MeldaProduction-2211/ We've only tracked its price for 3 months so far, so there's limited data for now, but you'll see it shows the price history of the product on ADSRSounds and Plugin Boutique. Over the next few months (and for Black Friday especially) it will start to build more of a price history profile so that chart will be more detailed and have more stores on it. The price history page doesn't look nice, doesn't have button to link to the product on the stores, and doesn't have price notifications (get notified when it hits a specific price) but those will come further down the line. Just wanted to show you that the price tracking is already up and running, tracking prices of products across multiple stores to give you a better idea of where the prices are throughout the year. Any feedback much appreciated!
  6. Working on the final parts of the first version of historical price tracking at the moment. Its very basic, with no nice "styling" or layout yet but this gives you an idea of the functionality: https://musicsoftwaredeals.com/price-history/?deal_id=1817
  7. Have never seen it sold anywhere before for $299 but its cheaper on VSTBuzz permanently at $20: https://vstbuzz.com/deals/72-off-the-morpheus-by-xclusive-audio/
  8. Thanks, this month we're going to be focusing more on the price tracking / notification element of it so that's our focus for now. In terms of category filtering it will work once we've categorised all products properly, but its not our priority right now so we'll let you know when its done. I suppose we could do that yep Possibly in future, but its out of scope for now
  9. Search box added now so you can search for any product name and it will display those results.
  10. Their company accounts show about 550k debts so maybe they just went bankrupt
  11. They used Shopify for their website already. That page is just a standard Shopify password protected page. Looks like something is happening to them. Unlikely that they would be doing maintenance on a website on a weekend.
  12. Yes maybe the default view should be latest deals sorted randomly. Then you can choose your own filters after that.
  13. Ah I see what you mean alright. Yes good point, perhaps then we can make the front page by default have a random selection of the latest deals so they aren't all from the same company/re-seller etc.
  14. Thanks for the feedback. I'm not sure I completely understand what you mean actually. Currently if you click on the "Manufacturer" filter, then select "Unselect All" and only select "Xhun Audio" you'll see only the Xhun Audio ones (which need to eventually be correctly categorised and tagged properly). Is that what you mean or do you mean something else?
  15. "Infinite scroll" added now so you can scroll through the deals without having to click through to new pages as per feedback from @Syphus and @mibby
  16. Ah perfect, I see what you mean yep. That's more of a "cosmetic" thing on the website that we'll fix eventually after we add more functionality. Also, as mentioned in my previous comment, we'll add continual scrolling instead of multi page products to make it easier to view
  17. Hi there, I'm not too sure what you mean, can you provide more detail?
  18. Hey thanks for the feedback! 1. Do you mean when you click any deal, it should open in a new tab? 3. Yes good idea we'll try that 4. Not sure what you mean, can you elaborate? 5. We'll try eventually, but one issue with Best Service is that they don't really list all products in a functional way so you can see what's on sale vs not. Their deals page just consists of banners that link to categories but don't have any specific prices in them. We can figure out a way to deal with this eventually, but they're not a priority or now 6. That's a really nice idea actually thanks. We can certainly do that yep! 7. Yes we're eventually just going to enable constant scrolling on grid view so you can continually scroll instead of having them on different pages 8. Thanks very much
  19. https://www.plugin-alliance.com has been added (though their coupon system will make it fun to figure out actual prices). We're now in the process of adding Waves (all 1 million sale products), Loot Audio and Native Instruments. After that we'll stop adding new sites for a while and focus on functionality of the website before adding more websites.
  20. https://www.audioplugindeals.com and https://www.thefxchain.com have both been added now. Working on Plugin Alliance now.
  21. Thanks yep looking for feature requests, bugs etc. on here, ViControl and KVR
