  1. Thanks very much RSinger. Everything works now. Finally, I just turned off the input volume on my audio interface. My second problem (silent Midi loop playback) was that during my tests I had tried the MSUperLooper16OutPut version. In this version, with my cakewalk configuration, only output1 gives a sound. I switched back to the standard version of MSLooper, and now I can hear all the tracks in my loop clearly.
  2. Thank you Rsinger for your reply. The basic scenario you mention already works. and I have almost fixed the echo problem
  3. Thank you for the answers. Yes I saw this tutorial and many others. And I have a good understanding of the 2 modes (synchronized or not with the DAW). That's no my problem. Is the PDF document better? MSuperLooper_Pb.pdf
  4. Hello, Can you tell me how to use MSuperLooper with CakeWalk ? I can't configure it correctly. Details of my tests and problems in the attached file. Best regards MSuperLooper-problem-EN.docx
  5. Hello, I'm trying to make work the vST3 MSuperLooper plugin, version 16.10, with cakewalk version 2023.09 (build 075, 64-bit). But I can't record anything on an Audio track. I suspect that there must be some configuration to route the track input to MSuperLooper but I can't find how to do it. Can you help me please ? The details of my configuration and my tests are described in the attached file. MSuperLooper-problem-EN.docx
  6. Good morning, I'm a big fan of the free version of cakewalk, which I use extensively in the home studio setting. For me, Cakewalk came from Sonar which at some point became free. And I read on the internet that there are plans to remake a paid version of cawkewalk which would be called Sonar (for PC). Isn't this a step back? and should I be worried about the future of the free version (will it be maintained, or even refined to encourage switching to the paid version...) Best regards
  7. In the comping process of Cakewalk, we start by cutting each take into musical phrases, so as to then compare each phrase in the different takes. Can this phrases breakdown be saved as a template and applied to another track, itself containing takes, to compare?
  8. Good morning, Can you tell me what happens if we add tracks after recording a mix scene, and move them between the previous tracks? I hope it's not the displayed track number that is taken into account by the mix recall but an internal number independent of the order of display? best regards
  9. Thanks for your answer but mutating only silences the section but doesn't skip it...
  10. Hello, is there a way to zoom a track or bus in console view ? Thank you
  11. Yes, I use this feature well, but when you move with the down / up arrows, you change the sentence, but that does not automatically return to the start of the loop. hence my question
  12. Hello, Is there a shortcut to return to the beginning of the loop while playing ? (to use in the context of the comping, when listening to the different takes, since it seems that the comping does not restart at the beginning of the loop when you change the sentence with the down / up arrows). I found one to return to the beginning of the section (Ctr + Maj + PreviuosPage )but not for the loops· Thank you
  13. Hello I did not know that it had worked and indeed I would find it interesting! I was just looking for a shortcut to return to the beginning of the loop to circumvent this lack (even if the comping function is generally great!). I will follow this discussion because interested if possible
  14. Hello, can someone tell me if it is possible to copy an audio track into a lane of another track? The idea is to complete the lanes made on a track, in record comping mode, with other audio tracks made beforehand. According my test, when I copy a track into a take, it erases all the previous takes
  15. Hmm... I don't think we understand each other. I don't want markers to know when to resume singing (I already have my AABA sections positioned with the arranger). I would just like the nstrumental solo parts not to be played during the recording. Let's imagine that these solos are played on the B section, I would like that during the recording we only hear the AAA sections. Basically the idea would be to be able to use a cakewalk arrangement during recording
  16. Thank you for your answer, but precisely I wanted to avoid moving a portion of the track, and having to go back. I was thinking of a recording option that starts from an arrangement and not complete tracks, or even an option that allows you to deactivate the reading of a selection during recording. The idea is globally to concentrate on the part of the tracks where to record vocals, and not to listen to the rest.
  17. I want to talk about a solo part before the voice resumes 16 bars later ...
  18. Hello, I often record songs including an instrumental part, and I would like to skip this instrumental section when recording vocals, so as not to be distracted by the instrumental part. I know how to do this with the arranger while playing the song , but is there a way to do this while recording ? Thank you for your attention
  19. Thank for you answer. I tried this option, without success. Issue solved by setting the same sampling frequency in cakewalk and in the Windows sound setting:
  20. Hello, I use Apollo twin X Usb for Windows, with the cakewalk DAW (version 2022.11 for Windows) . In my workflow, I usually export a waw file of my mix and listen to it with VLC or another sound file player. But since I use the apolo sound card, even after closing cakewalk, and while VLC sends the sound to the apollo sound card, no sound comes out of VLC. I have to reset the Apollo card for the sound to come back. Is there a trick to correct or circumvent this problem? Someone told me about a "Share Drivers With Other Programs" option, available in Cakewalk Sonar 8.5. But I couldn't find anything like that in my version of cakewalk. Apart from that, I'm so happy to have discovered Cakewalk! Bests regards
  21. Thanks for your reply. Indeed if no backup is made, the instrument plugin is not lost. The problem is that we don't necessarily realize the problem right away, and we can work on and save the project before realizing it. A Warning when opening the project and loading the plug-ins would be welcome. Best regards
  22. Hello, When I forget to connect my external hard drive before opening a Cakewalk project, the plugin instrument assignment is lost. For example, I find my Instrument track with Empty for my sforzando plug-in. Is there a way to overcome this behavior (because choosing an instrument takes time and if you have to start over...) ?
  23. Dear Bandlab community It took me a while to find cakewalk and now I'm a big fan! I am looking for the equivalent to do the video editing of the song clip. Do you have freeware software to recommend? It would be too good to have freeware software of the quality of cakewalk to do the video editing ... Thank you for your attention
