  1. i bump them because people miss them. they sit a while, and slide right down the list, and no one even sees them. i don't review often, but i do review. when i hear something that really excites me, i'll respond. now, if you want to bump yours, go ahead, i will not complain.
  2. alright tom! appreciate the comments... yea, the rough stage, man, i actually did 15 versions of this song, experimenting with multiple guitar tracks, stereo tracks, different kits, different mix techniques... i used it as my 'laboratory' to try out stuff i hadn't done before. all different, just trying to figure out how to get to where i wanted to be. my guitar tones, i used the absolutely lowest gain i could get away with for the rhythms, and THAT was the magic. i had to really work to get those parts to pop....
  3. updated mix, brought the vox tracks up about .75 db, just enough to hear them slightly louder.
  4. a single i have finished, to be on a yet untitled next project. njoy! https://batsbrew.bandcamp.com/track/hear-the-call

  11. heheh, ez.... yep... nope. well, certain things ARE easy, the ideas are easy.... harder to get it all dialed into a complete arrangement. am i making a living at music? oh, H3LL NO!! heheh, i did, for a long time, 6 years.... but now, i just do this for myself, and try to share. thanks so much for listening
  12. ha! your brother's experience was very close to mine, but it was my wife (and the guide) that got sucked out of the raft on a Class V, i got the guide back in, but wifey went down in a hydraulic, just like your brother, and came out about 30 yards downstream... we had a frantic chase, backwards, downstream, and got her just fine. she did not lose her paddle!!! quite the experience, it was quite scary. thanks for listening to my tracks. i'm glad somebody is getting a chance to hear them, maybe for the 1st time.
  13. https://batsbrew.bandcamp.com/track/insignificant this song story is inspired from a whitewater rafting trip down the Gauley River, and "Insignificant" is the name of a Class V rapid that i became way too familiar with. it's a hopeful story tho, with an inspired beginning, some drama in the middle, and an upbeat ending.
