Okay, forgive me for being Rip Van Winkle, but I just installed Cakewalk by BandLab after being away from the program for years, having moved over to another DAW when CW's future was super shaky. Installed it out of curiosity tonight, loaded one of my old songs, and wow, nice job BandLab! I'm not a power user, so this is just a general first impression, but it looks to me like this is a great new version of the CW I've known and loved for years, not just an afterthought-until-we-replace-it-with-our-own-software that I feared it might be.
Just thought I'd pipe up in case a bit of feedback from an old (in every sense of the word) user makes someone at BandLab feel good about all the work they've obviously done. Bravo, and thanks!
