    Hate Me

To my ears it has a nice clean retro classic rock sound all the way down to the vocal sounding retro. . Great eq work in getting a nice separation between instruments. Mud is non existent. "It fits"the mid-late 60's early 70's sound to a tee. Put a few record scratch noises in there and you might fool someone into believing it's the real deal. Seems closest to some of the old Stones tunes to me. Thanks for sharing! Nice work!

    Free Flight

You can tell experienced musicians when you see them. You guys should be out playing a gig somewhere. Nice work!
  3. I liked it. The mix and composition itself very good "sci fi ish" material!
  4. Gary, You are very good at using these mixing/engineering tools to get professional results. Maybe some of this comes from mixing live sound? In addition you have the voice to go with this and you mixed it especially well with the track. Must be nice to be retired and be able to do something like this you love. I keep dreaming that one day I'll be in the same place even though I'm a year older than you. Those implants are no big deal really. They do it every day, they have all the tools. You won't feel any pain. I had two put in and am looking at a third next year. Expensive but worth it. The tune would fit right in on any Christmas radio list! Congrats on such nice work!
  5. Any track that plays midi can transmit it. You could take that midi and do something with it. If this isn't something you think you would enjoy probably better off just buying the paks. I doubt ANY kits from different manufacturers will match up. Another Toontrack product called EZ Player Pro has mappings for all of the major drum manufacturers kits. Here's a pic on my desktop . If you look you will see I have mapping loaded for SSD 3.5, I get a lot of my loops from Looploft.
  6. EZDrummer similar to others makes $$ from you buying their midi loops. Like you say, a money pit. If you know how to match midi grooves up to drum software decent midi grooves can be had in much larger quantities and for much less elsewhere. It's basically just changing the mapping. Not sure if EZDrummer is general midi spec. I doubt it because that would be counter productive to their marketing. I bought a whole slew of drum midi a few years ago for much less. You would search this as drum midi. Mapping is usually straight forward. Load midi. Low noted are bass drum, high notes are cymbals. Those in between are either percussion, toms or snare. If you want to avoid mapping just use the paks. If you want to save money buy drum midi from 3rd party and map it. I still have trouble finding beats that match my songs and sometimes find myself playing lame beats in. I'm not really a rocker but was experimenting with the new basic kits. It's a religious Christian Rock tune. I'm not pushing that here, just showing you how the drums sound . I was pretty happy with the drums. Still some work to do on vox and guitars.
  7. I recently updated two Win 10 computers using these numbers.. No issues.
  8. Round 3 I had a question about the Shadow Hills Class A. Does PA allow a generous upgrade path to Class A if I buy the non class A version offered on this sale? Thanks.
  9. I finally jumped on the ARC3 deal. I wanted the new mic. I was able to use my jam points but the code ARC350 didn't work. Maybe that was only for the software crossgrade.
  10. Thanks for the heads up on EZdrummer. I picked it up on the sale. Might look at upgrading to Superior if I like it. I have several other drum programs that sound great but so far haven't been very "easy" to fit into songs for this non-drummer.
  11. I think mental health issues are sometimes misdiagnosed and are actually evil influences, i.e. the story of David playing for Saul. In either case music has a very calming feeling if the music is the right music. As Craig alluded to, some music has the opposite effect, i.e. summoning chants in death metal. I think most people can tell the difference between uplifting music and negative music. I one thought all musicians came at music in much the same way. Boy was I wrong. I don't think there's a one size fits all answer to the makeup, motives and music of different musicians and their moods as a result.
  12. One of the biggest advantages here in buying the bundles is free future support. Unlike some others in the business I won't mention who keep chipping away at that wallet long after the original purchase in order to stay updated. At full retail those prices are crazy high for a hobbyist. At 50% this is beginning to compare to packages from others only in many cases these are better plugins and you should be "future proofed". I say "should" because maybe there's something in the fine print I missed. If there is correct me. Otherwise it's free lifetime updates.
  13. Thanks for the update. Glad to hear it! Best of luck!
  14. Did you have any issue with the update? I wish they had a more automatic update feature. Like a packed file we could just unzip and install. Sounds as if I need to extract a file and put it somewhere. I'm only concerned because you don't know me......I might not get it right lol.
  15. I would get these concerns into the next update request. CAKEWALK TEAM are you listening? FWIW They did a fantastic job on this last update!
  16. I would ask to come over but Norway is a long way from here!
  17. Oh and let me repeat in case you didn't see it. This is one of the best CW updates eva!!!!
  18. This is similar to the new articulations pane in Studio One so far as function is concerned. Looks like you guys caught up there.. Congratulations! This version of the process is easier on my eyes and easier to use. The only nit I have so far is very small. No maps for my particular libraries. I am looking to build a few in the future. Not sure how much time I'll have though. If anyone has some spare time and wants to build a few to share I would be much obliged.
  19. I downloaded two zip files last night. No time to install yet. Hopefully I'll figure it out. I see he's started selling paks for UNIFY. And there's two versions now? I guess I have the basic version.
  20. Articulation maps 👍 This is a wonderful addition. Thanks!
  21. Up and running? Bapu even added legs to his build. That wasn't even almost funny.
  22. I feel for you Marled. Very frustrating when trying to get something done. I haven't had much time lately to even use the software which is also a sad thing.
  23. Pillsbury would roll in his grave if he read this.
