Anyone know why it's necessary that I turn on my keyboard midi instrument before starting Cakewalk? If I do it the opposite way, Cakewalk then instrument, I am unable to hear the instrument and there is no midi activity. It's a Yamaha USB midi connection. Windows 10. I have searched online, but have found nothing related to this. Is this just how it works? Thanks!
  3. Well, I'm pretty sure it has to do with settings in Grace, like adjusting the amp env knobs and turning off the velocity.
  4. Hi there. I recently started working with the Grace sampler. I am having an issue where the sample doesn't play through at a constant level. Yamaha keyboard triggers a sample and it adds extra volume at the beginning. The sample then assumes its constant volume level. Could it be a setting in Cakewalk? I have looked into the keyboard settings but no luck. Thank you everyone.
