I can't get sonar to use the mixers built in audio interface, it auto loads it in the setup but it gives me an error " unable to open recording device may not support audio format "

I've got a presonus studio live 24 that controls studio ones audio and I'd use the edirol when I was using sonar worked fine in win 7 but now I'm using win 10

I moved to Studio One when Sonar died, I'm back to work on my older master recordings using the new calkwalk, I was hoping it would have a feature to transfer a complete mix over to another DAW . What's the best way to approach this.?

ok I'm using the wrong assistant, just another user error......

back again I ran the Assistant, ( V.10.04 ), it stated that there was an update available and when I hit download it started the pulsating " downloading 0:0 " indicator, run over nite with no results

got ya, I tried the installer first and it said I was up to date, but it's working now, I think I did a reboot somewhere down the line. Thanks so much for hang'n in there for me.......

I did as you suggested and am now running 2021.04 on win 7 64, and it appears to be running fine, when I go to check for updates I get the connection error. I'm not concerned about running it in win 7 this is temporary as I'm going to be using it on win 10 64 when I get the complete download to the new version available to transfer to my studio pc

it's downloaded on win 7 64, my studio system in 10 64

got ya, roll it back twice to 2021.04 will leave 2021.09 in the directory? how do I roll back the app.?

I use sonar for YEARS and a lot of my master recordings are locked up in this system. I want to install it on my studio pc but I don't allow it to talk to the internet so I need to download the full version with my laptop and transfer it over. Oh and can you do a full song dump to another DAW that retains all the data with this version? that was one of it's MAJOR flaws......
