  1. It is understandable that the Wookiee forum administrator wants to simplify his work by warning in the forum headers about the forbidden and so on, but...? Wouldn't it be wiser to do your job by acting and deleting each post that corresponds and thus be able to release those horrendous warnings from the beginning of the forum? Thanks Wookiee!!!

  2. Magix is a very deceptive company, be careful especially in the payment methods on producer planet with the soundpool and be very clear that the three soundpool that they give away along with the purchase of music marker Premium "are not for commercial use" and I say deceptive company because they do not clarify it anywhere more than having to like a credit card even if they pay with sufficient PayPal funds..

I'm not sure if that's the point, but this is one of the most atrociously bad sounding reverbs I've ever heard. And CPU usage is ridiculously high IIRC.

    Installed!

Just as bad as their synth, just for beginners amateur

  4. For those who still do not have the full version of the SynthMaster 2 this Player version is a good start for those who want to appreciate its spectacular sounds and sound quality, although this Player version brings all the sounds of the Full version obviously you cannot edit or automate parameters, but it is great to jump in a very economical way to an update of the SMv2

I'm  sorry to ask this, but checked few videos on this and it doesn't sound anything really special ... lots of options, I get it but apart of that... still very average sound... anyone care to explain why it is sounding good to you, what is for you so special about it sound wise?

    Thanks gals and guys!

Although the sound quality is not better than Dune 3, Diva, Pigments, its tremendous potential lies in looking like the Nexus but fully editable, it is a very powerful synthesizer and all its expansions are reitable and sound very good.

  6. It is unfortunate the payment policy that requires to buy expansions in "Producer planet" because it requires you to associate a credit card when you want to pay with a SUFFICIENT balance with PayPal, and not to mention the inefficient and deplorable non-existent personalized customer support of MAGIX, it is impossible to have a personalized direct contact, totally erroneous commercial policies that scare away current and future customers, lack all common sense for good customer service :((((

Everyone is talking about how much they're interested in the deal, does anyone who has it installed want to give us their thoughts (I always prefer uncompensated reviews from people who buy the product to influencers)?

It only brings 301 presets, consumes a lot of CPU and in my opinion it is not even close to half in terms of sound quality of some good kontakt library.

The reports I see showing the incredible number of people who bought it yesterday beg to differ.  We have audio and video demos available for all the basses.  And of course to go through this yet again:  you are not "paying again" for everything.

Also, the replies you got last time you made this rant (from other users of this forum, not me) can counter your hyperbole about how many people agree with your logic.

Appreciate you bumping the thread, though.  The more people that know about MODO BASS 2 seems the more people want to pick it up for the most part.  We have an affiliate program if you'd like to make some commissions though I'm pretty sure those links aren't allowed here.

But to be serious.  I am sorry to hear you don't think we have given enough away free for your liking, and I mean that sincerely.  Sometimes things just aren't for someone and I appreciate that this and MODO DRUM 1.5 were not for you.  However, you tend to go on the offensive so I will unfortunately need to correct the misinformation when I see it, as much as I do sincerely appreciate that you're interested to a degree but these products are not for you.

Mr Peter, seen and considering these update policies I already think it is not enough for me, too bad I did not realize before buying the first version, greetings.

  9. A real shame the very reduced palette of patterns and very low melodic articulation brought the CS version, added to the fact that there is no demonstration of sounds of the new expansions it is really no very tempting for me to pay again for an update to V2 and apparently I am not the only one who thinks this which I have been saying for a while.

Since I have MODO BASS 1, I looked at the comparison table and didn't see any benefit to installing MODO BASS 2 CS. Is there any benefit, other than the option to buy  ala carte basses?

Update: Found it.  MODO BASS 2 CS has features listed that MODO BASS 1 doesn't:

    • Reduced number of patterns.
    • No fretless capability.

Might be worth installing if it adds the ability to record, save, and load user bass patterns.

This feature seems to make having to scroll past the new locked basses worth the extra effort,

The only real benefit is for IKM that it tempts you to keep buying more bass models and get more patterns, which by the way very unattractive and tempting seem to be those of the CS version.

I know the only thing you want to hear is that it is out but I promise we're very close.  In the mean time, check out the patterns section video which I believe answers some questions I've been seeing around:

Surely it will come out soon, because we have to re-bill the $ 149 updates that very sadly v1.5 users must pay, a very good commercial move for IKM although not so much for the client, because the ethically correct thing would have been to have free update plus a custon Shop in order to safeguard the good criticism of v 1.5 users and everyone will pay the expansions at ease.

  12. IKM is a giant company where its only interest is to get new customers based on irresistible offers and then ambush them with different update strategies where it very skillfully makes you fall on the path of infinite updating and the customer does not fall into the loss of the old and useless instrument. Unfortunately, the clients we have a number after the back and we are no more than that, a real trade IKM by which if not upgraded, lose the product, in my case, after having bought Modo Drums and bass before the unexpected but disreputable new update IKM I desidivo not buy never ANYTHING more.

  13. Mr. Peter, the exact same thing happened with MODE drum, the whole forum exploded in anger and you did not appear saying the same thing, I understand perfectly that you defend the interests of your company that you represent but in this case everything is pure commercial marketing in favor of IKM and not for the client, check the comments in the Drum Mode thread and you will see what I am talking about.

I'm sorry, but this is a really dumb thing to say.

You because surely I do not buy the plugins just before the update, otherwise I would not say that, in such a case for you I am a fool, you must be a millionaire who does not mind always paying for the same Full plugins, which should one should only pay once.

  15. IKM is a company that cares much more the marketing of "give away" the products that need an update to substantially face-I important, the classic game of mouse, we show crazy prices in deals after shopping you shake with the update, unfortunately, make their perverse game what you want to have cutting-edge products and quality, but... They are perverts who play nothing but their own speculations game and never think about the real benefit of the user client, as demonstrated with the last update of the drum mode.
