Has anyone had experience of using Brainworx's bx_Oberhausen in Cakewalk.For some reason it won't work with my midi Keyboard in Cakewalk. I have no trouble playing it with my keyboard in other DAWs but for some reason it won't play my keyboard in cakewalk. Strangely it will play from my pc keyboard but not my Keystation Mini.Anyone got any ideas on how to fix this?

The freeze does not distort and it gives a stereo audio output. I'm on version 2022.02(build 039,64 bit) of Cakewalk. Also tried importing the audio track to a new project but it was still in mono and distorted.Weird than when I record as it is recording there are 2 channels but once finished they colapse to the single mono.

Yes freezing works.I get a good stereo audio output with no distortion. Also just tried splitting the instrument track with the Cakewalk SI Electric Piano and get the same- a mono audio track with very bad distortion. Also what should the soft Synth settings be. I've tried quite a few including this one:

No Stereo is selected. Strangely the midi track when played at first is in stereo. Then when I right click to split the instument track the midi track now plays in mono and the audio out plays in stereo (I can tell from the two sets of green bars moving differently for the audio output but identical now for the midi output). Just found the interleave button and it is on stereo. Here is a screenshot of my split track and settings showing a mono audio output when I want stereo.

What is the interleave button please and where might I find it? Rather new to this sort of thing.

I'm trying to split instrument tracks for a stereo audio output so I can record from the free FL studio vst to Cakewalk tracks but I can't get stereo only mono. I've just tried with Vital and still only mono.Can't work out what i'm doing wrong as I've seen this demonstrated in a tutorial and thought I was following the steps. He got stereo and I can only get mono?

Has any one tried hooking up VCV Rack as a VST in Cakewalk? I'm looking at the ShapeMaster Pro(paid) plus the other free VCV stuff for use in Cakewalk. The ShapeMaster Pro looks particularly powerful and versatile.

Ok Thanks. For the Input on Track 2 Under BlueArp which Midi track should I choose? I have the option of Midi Omni or Midi channels 1 to 16.

So this is what I have at the moment if I am understanding you: 2 midi tracks and 2 instrument tracks.Is this part at least correct?Sorry but my understanding of all the inputs and outputs is rather basic.

Has anyone had experience using BlueARP in Cakewalk? I'm pretty new to Cakewalk and haven't been able to find a clear Tutorial on how to set it up.Any help would be much appreciated.

Just tried the new insaller.SI instruments now working.Great stuff.Thanks for the patch.

It would be great if this is fixed.I did use the web installer a few days ago but if it's been fixed what is the instalation procedure. i.e is it important to do a clean instal with all the various registry deletions or can I just update it with this new version of the web installer and write over the previous one.

abacab thanks just had a look and I have the latest build but the problem is still there.

Just tried a fresh install following instructions from Freed from Cakewalk but the same problem persists.Would be good to get a fix for this.

I do think the web installer is a big improvement over the Bandlab assistant and once the problems get smoothed out should be the default method for instalation.Then maybe the Bandlab assistant could be re-introduced in improved form.It needs progress bars for instance when downloading and installing updates.

Thanks.I've just installed the special installer and then opened Cakewalk again but the error is still there.Do I need to do anything else?

Managed to install with the web installer after several re-instalations with the Bandlab Assistant.But I'm still getting the same error with the studio instruments:see attached image.Just re-installing the program doesn't seem to work. What is the fix for this please? would love to use this program but at the moment it's pretty useless.
