  1. Hello
I wanted to do a null test to hear the difference / artifacts in a plugin when it is over sampled in cakewalk and when it has not been oversampled in cakewalk.

I did this and flipped the phase - it does not work. I believe because it is not sample accurate.  Do you guys have any insight into why this would not be working?

    Thank you
    John

  2. Hello I am sure this has been discussed. If so please do help me find the topic in the forum.
I have installed some new plugin alliance plugins. The vst3 plugins are in the correct folder and when I first installed them cakewalk noticed them in the initial scan, but that was it. I did this with the online installer.

I tried doing this with the offline installer as well since this is generally an offline daw.  - Plugins still do not show up in cakewalk.

I wonder if I need to clean the registry to force cakewalk to notice the vst3 files again?

I did try installing these plugins on a different machine with cakewalk and it worked great.

    Thank you

    John

  3. Looks as though it is a RAM issue or cache or something of the sort. I have saved the project with just the drums ( no other vst) and it is freezing properly at the moment.

Volume level in Sonar does not affect what level the track is printed at does it?
I know I should just do my own test to figure this out but I thought I would ask in case someone has done a few tests

  4. In the past I had no issues freezing tracks for Software synths that were hosted inside of Vienna Ensemble Pro. I would simply freeze the track and with Slate Drums everything would freeze on the correct track/ Multi Output.

Any tips on what I should be looking for to make this work with my current setup with superior drummer 3 ?

I click the freeze button and nothing happens at all.

    Thank you
    John
