  1. I do appreciate your time on this.  I hear the same shrill type of tones. No body, etc. I'm sure this can be "user error".  I'm a little puzzled the presets sound this bad. Could the previous owner have done something?  There are blocks where there is nothing there. I would've guess there would be many, many presets made by the company.   But, the way it sounds now, I wouldn't buy this unit had I known. But, I could be doing something wrong.  Is there a way to download the factory presets where I can start from square one?

  2. Thanks:  I just did what you suggested before I read your response. I took the two outs (l and r) and went into my Scarlett 2i2 and I'm getting sounds now.  To be honest, I'm a bit disappointed in the sound I'm getting from my studio speakers.  I'm sure I'm still not doing something right.

  3. Hello: Anyone use this combination?  Got mine in today. Bought it used. I can't seem to get the audio to work.  I've downloaded the USB driver and Edit .  I've assigned the Audio to this device in Cakewalk.  Can someone point me in the right direction?

    Thanks

  4. I'm in need of assistance: I want to sent individual drums to their own track.  For example...send kick drum to track one...Snare to track two...etc.   I don't know how to do this. I've look in to it, but I'm lost.  I'm using a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2.  Is this limiting me in outputs?

    Thanks

  5. Hello: I'm looking for any recommendations for a Midi Keyboard. I just bought and tried the MidiPlus AKM320.  The Keys are too tiny for my hands. So, I'm looking for a controller with full size keys and basic operation. I just need a volume and octave adjustment.  I'm not a real keyboard player. I just use it to layer some keys into my song ideas.

    Thanks

  6. Looking for your advice: When I place a groove from Ezdrummer into cakewalk, it inserts at about 1 measure. I then Groove Clip Loop it out to 50 measure. To do this, I grab the right side of the clip and swipe my mouse left and right (at right side of screen) many times to get it long enough to get around 50 measures.
Question: Is there a more efficient way to do this? Like, identify somewhere how long I need the drum clip and it just takes it there?
    Thanks

  7. Hello: I need your suggestion on how to extend Groove Clip Looping when laying down a drum track.  I use EZ drummer and I will first pick out a suitable track for the recording I want to make.  I lay it in the mixer and it shows up in a small clip size.  I then select Groove Clip Looping to make it longer by stretching it out over and over and over to get the desired length.  Is there a faster way to get the loop out to a length of 50 without having to stretch out the original clip over and over again?

    thanks

  8. Hello: I use CakeWalk for home recording. I'd like to put some keys in the back ground. So, I need to get a keyboard with choices that's not too robust or complicated. I don't need much. Just something with good quality chords.  And, I go into my Focusrite 212 with my guitar. Some keyboards have USB connections. My Focusrite doesn't have USB.  Can I plug a keyboard into my computer's USB port and have it picked up within Cakewalk?

    Thanks

  9. Howdy All:  Well, I had to upgrade to Windows 10 (gonna miss 7) and, well...I'm having all sorts of issues with plugins, etc.  So, I thought I'd download bandlab.  When I opened her up, all I see is like a VERY basic screen.  No tracks..no anything I had in Sonar X2 Producer.  What am I missing?  And, I mean this sincerly because its normally because I've overlooked something.

    Thanks for the help.
