  1. Or go nuts - feed the output of Riffer into Chordjam and see what comes out 🤪
  2. Are you doing an impression of a dial-up modem connecting? 😁
  3. Looks like they have a pick-your-own-bundle scheme: Bundle of 10 SuperCabinet Libraries: € 149.00 Bundle of 3 SuperCabinet Libraries: € 49.00 Not sure if they'll discount these during sales, or whether or not you'll get a discount on future purchases (e.g. like with GEMs/Rematrix libs)
  4. It's a taped purple supersaw synth!

  6. Seems like it could be quite fun - anyone planning to participate?
  7. Looks interesting - anyone have this one?
  8. It's partly the microphone positions on offer - up to an 11.1 configuration, as well as bleed for each mic. A summary based on info from their website: 1. Basic Sound Library All instruments, all tools and all articulations in direct microphones as well as the OH Dyn and Amb Ribbon channels. Bleed available in Snare Bottom, OH Dyn and Amb Ribbon channels. Approx. download size: 40 GB. 2. Room mics The rest of the room microphone channels (OH Cond, Amb Near and Amb Mid). Approx. download size: 46 GB. 3. Surround Setup Surround. Five channel microphone setup to achieve 5-channel surround. Approx. download size: 43 GB. 4. Height Surround Height and width. Six channel microphone setup to achieve 11-channel surround (in combination with the “Surround 1” content). Approx. download size: 52 GB. +. Additional Bleed All remaining instrument bleed, meaning the sound picked up by microphones other than the one(s) directly intended for a specific instrument or ambience. Approx. download size: 54 GB.
  9. Thanks Larry - that's quite a lot of space. Still, less than a SD3 complete install 😜
  10. If I decide to go for TS3 Max, does it mean I have to download the sound files for SampleTank/Miroslav/Syntronik, etc. within 180 days if I don't want to pay to install at a later date? Does anyone know roughly much space I need to store it all?
  11. I've got a 1st gen Scarlett (it doesn't even have an on/off switch!) that I'm still using. My power adapter broke the other day so I contacted support. I fully expected them to tell me my interface was far too old, out of warranty, and that I'd have to buy another adapter from them (in which case I probably would have tried another brand). To my surprise, they sent me a new one for free! So their support is pretty good (from my experience), and you get the occasional free plugins from Plugin Collective. The interface is good enough for me (i.e. the Scarlett range - not suggesting you find a 1st gen model), but you might have more demanding needs.
  12. Collect $200 Salary as you pass GO 😜
  13. Hey @Peter - IK Multimedia I really do like IK's products, but I've always wondered (and this is a genuine question) - is there a reason that IK don't digitally sign their .exe and installer files? I remember you mentioning in some other thread that some product (Amplitube 5, possibly?) was selling very well, and from that I assume there is a fair amount of profit, and code-signing certificates aren't that expensive in the overall scheme of things.
  14. I personally don't see what the problem is - according to the article, the telemetry is optional. Furthermore, it remains open source - anyone with relevant programming experience (including the original owners/maintainers of Audacity) can fork the latest release and disable the telemetry if they felt that strongly about it.
  15. I'm guessing this is going to be a special-FX reverb (like Adaptiverb), rather than a smooth/natural reverb like (Pro-R)?
  16. Definitely agree that Pianoteq sounds better - if £58.56 is half price for TruePianos, I'd definitely recommend at least looking at Pianoteq Stage
  17. Me too - as far as saturation plugins (...and other types of plugins now that I think about it), I think I'm covered, or at least until my next bout of GAS 😜 I was wondering because my impression of Zo's Black Box review was that it was one of best sounding plugins at the time.
  18. So the question(s) become - do you prefer the TMT Black Box, or VSM 4? and is the difference between the two big?
  19. Also, there are 10 types of people in the world - those that understand binary, and those that don't.
  20. Buy 2 get 1... does that mean it's a really bad deal, i.e. you're paying double for something; or that it's a good deal and you get three in total?
  21. Am I right in thinking this will only work in FL Studio? Unless I've misunderstood FL's website, registration of new VST plugins has been discontinued.
  22. As PavlovsCat mentioned, both OTS and AS sound great; here's some additional info to consider when deciding which to go with: OTS libraries are Kontakt (Player, so you don't need to buy anything else) based; AS have their own plugin. AS are MIDI guitar compatible (e.g. channel 1 for string 1, channel 2 for string 2, etc); not sure if OTS are (I don't have any OTS guitar libraries) AS have recently released updates for some of their instruments, sometimes adding new articulations (e.g. a pick-sound library); they've released their updates for free The more you buy in one order with AS, the bigger a discount you'll get. Even during a sale, it's probably cheaper to go with OTS if you want an 'everything' bundle
  23. This was mentioned recently in another thread, but RipChord might be able to help you get towards one chord per key: https://trackbout.com/ripchord
  24. Not me - I've just written enough code to realise that waiting for merges can be bad for productivity and product improvement speed.
  25. If you need MIDI note mapping, be sure to check these out too - might not have such a slick interface, but free: https://www.codefn42.com/
