It was my headphones? They work fine with everything but for some reason they sound horrible with my audio interface, so I though it was either that or cakewalk. I just got new ones so everything is working properly now. Thanks for the help anyways!

So I got Cakewalk some time ago, but I just started learning how to use it. The problem is that whenever I add plugin and try to play something on it, it just sounds very low and in some cases very weird to. I found out that switching the pan knob all the way to one side(doesn't matter which) fixes it? When I was learning all of the very basic stuff this didn't bother me at all, but now that I want to start experimenting and learning with the mixing aspect of the daw, it's literally impossible since I'm always forced to have the pan knob fully at one side or the other. Also I keep on hearing the stuff I write inside Cakewalk on both sides of my headphones regardless of me doing this, but obviously when I want to export the track I need to put everything in the middle again because then entire thing would only be on one side. Also whenever I plug in my audio interface, every sound that comes from my computer that is outside Cakewalk sounds insanely low, is this normal? Thanks a lot for the help!

Hi! So the bar that says where you are on your recording is very precise and usually only marks beats and subdivisions no matter where you click with the mouse, but in the last few days it becomes smooth without me doing anything or realizing what I did, it allows me to click anywhere and I can't make it go back to the way it was, it's easier to start over than to keep on working on an already existing song if this happens. I couldn't find anyone with the same problem so it's probably me just pressing something weird, but I really need to know how to fix this, literally can't use cakewalk because it literally makes it impossible to use
