  1. Hello, As I was mixing a song that was sent to me today, while working on a vocal track, something sounded weird. I solo'ed the channel and something I have never encountered before (in my 7 years of using Sonar and Cakewalk) appeared. Some weird clicks were noticeable when the singer had the same tone and volume on his voice for 3 seconds. At first I wanted to see if the recording that was sent to me was faulty, I checked on my media player-nothing, I checked on another DAW-nothing was there. So I thought it had to do with my audio settings or my project settings. While experimenting with different settings, different drivers, uninstalling ASIO drivers re-installing them, tweaking their settings and all that fun stuff, nothing seemed to work out. You know, I was desperate because all this process took at least 7 hours on my free day. Anyways, after examining the glitch, I had an epiphany. The clicks sounded as if they had some kind of tempo, not my project's tempo tho. (Not my tempo - insert Whiplash jokes here). My first thought was that it had something to do with AudioSnap but nope. After half an hour or so, a nice glass of beer and the help of google I stumbled upon this LIFE SAVING POST of 2019. That young man Bronxio was asking something not related to my problem in a first glance but I'll be damned. The response of msmcleod fixed my glitching audio. Groove Clip had a tick on "Looping" and this thing caused my .wav file to click and cost me 8 hours in total to fix. Now, the reason I'm making a thread here posting this is that I know other DAWS like Reaper, in their settings, allow the user to ignore the BPM values of a file that's being imported. It would be SO NICE to have a function like that in the settings menu, with a nice description so WE, users can understand what it does, so we can avoid the hassle of having to do this in each file separately. I really love this DAW, I'm one of the lucky guys that used it before it was free and I'd love it more if some parts of your workflow were better designed so a user with 2000 hours of experience doesn't have to waste 8 hours of his day to find such a simple solution to a simple problem. Rant is over, have a nice day!
