  1. Yes to all that Erik. The Behringer C-1 has been a bundle of joy this week. Whole new world. Never used a mic before.
  2. Helpfull advice in your vids espeacialy about clipping. I sorted the microphone thing out. Was using cheap kareoke mic. Got Behringer c-1 condenser mic. Also cheap but it picks up the megaphone , ( should have mentioned is voice changing one) No wonder musicians etc just get a sound engineer in.
  3. Mine is set to Wasapi shared. I tried the asio one again and the warning message came up so have left on WASApi. Lots of other users struggled with Inst 2 This from Amazon reviewer has made my Inst 2 work now My windows sound settings was for 1 channel only. 'on Windows 10. 1. Click the Window icon bottom left of screen and in address line type control panel. 2. Select Hardware and Sound. 3.Select Sound. 4. From tabs at top select recording. 5. Right click on the USB audio Codec from the list. 6. Select Properties. 7. From tabs at top select Advanced. 8. From drop dwn menu select 2 channel 16 bit, 48000hz (Dvd quality). Click OK.'
  4. Anyone know link to good tutorial link for guitar to Cakewalk with Behringer UMC22. Can get guitar to work in mic line 1 but not in inst 2. Can't quite work it out from the 10 mins plus vids on youtube. Pictures in German manual show guitar going into inst 2. But have followed vids online and only get mic line to work. thanks
  5. I see , thanks. Will look at your vids at weekend, they look good. The microphone jack says 6.3mm.. Normal voice is ok. Pointing a little loud megaphone at microphone connected to Beringer audio interface gets no sound in headphones , but is picked up very quiet in cakewalk. I think its case of learning about microphones. Edit : jack is 6.35mm so is 1/4 jack. Good vids thanks
  6. hi, got cheap kareoke microphone to sing into. Plugged into Behringer DAW to headphones and can hear in headphones and in Cakewalk. But singing into a megaphone directed at microphone gets no sound in headphones . But Cakewalk picks it up albeit quiet anyone point me to best place to understand this.
  7. Is all a bit complicated understanding all this for me. Newbie to recording. But that info on wasapi works in inst 2. Thanks for that. Much appreciated Was £35
  8. Thanks , hopefully pic shows Amazing .. i had guitar in inst 2 Pluged into mic/line 1 and records , cool !!
  9. hi , help needing setting up Behringer UMC22 audo interface to cakewalk. Plugged in guitar but no joy. No indication its being seen. Have downloaded latest software Asio. In preferences in audio settings i have Playback and Recording driver mode set to Asio. In preferences in audio settings in devices both input and output says ASiO4ALL v 2 usb audio codec 1 However in the help pages on cakewalk it says 'Under the Audio section on the left, click on Devices Make sure your Behringer U-PHORIA UMC22 card is selected under both inputs and outputs'. Should i see the words 'Behringer U-PHORIA UMC22'
