Personally, I would rather buy a version of it without all those samples they want you to download. It's like 1gb or so. Not worth my money nor time!
I didn't like it at first, but it does come handy for kicking around ideas for me.

I don't think SSL is very good at marketing strategies which don't involve selling yet another version of a 4000, 6000 or 9000 console EQ or their bus compressor. Much like how API was reduced to two EQs.
True, but can't be worse than Harrison. Maybe they can de-ugly their GUI's as well.

I am really hoping the SSL acquisition leads to a better marketing strategy. So far they have relied on 1) questionable claims about "analog" that have lead to unprofessional exchanges with people who call them on their inaccuracies . 2) repeating same line about hits made 40 years ago, which kind of implies people stopped making hits with their products. That may not be true, but you would think they would mention music from this century more often.

But its not available as plugin right, its only a prochannel module
It is standalone too. I use it in studio one and mpc software

Hi. I am in a bit of the same situation as antler, but the Pro-Channel plugins are actually very good.
I still think the CA2A is one of the best LA2A plugins I've tried and got. And I've got quite a few. UAD's LA2A's comes above the CA2A though, IMO.
All the best.
I use ca2a more than any other la2a clone

RX10 still comes with a standalone version that can be used in Resolve - are you confusing it with Ozone 9 ?
Ozone 10 doesn't have a standalone.
I probably did confuse it. I am extra tired these days

It finally does what many of us thought V1 would do.

What does this mean? I've been using Davinci Resolve a lot with my regular music plugins but I'm wondering what the roundtrip thing is. Maybe I could be using them even more than I thought!
This should help

Think RX9 is popular with users of Davinci Resolve since it still has standalone version that can be setup to roundtrip in resolve

In other words, this is useless without a copy of Ozone 10 and Neutron 4.
Works with elements versions too, I believe which seem to be always on sale or part of giveaway

Is the pack worthwhile?
Almost every free pack is worthwhile. Odds are good you find a few decent things. The only downside to a free sample pack is if you are the type who just collects them without using

I can believe there are people who have not had any issues with Waves. My first major issue with Waves wasn't until recently and I realized resolved it quicklyThey do load slow asf now for me in ST1 5, but it's kinda minor.

For $3 and some change more than worth checking out

No Beyerdynamic DT 1990 Pro for some reason. Got it for my AirPods Pro. But mostly for the plugin count.
Odd one to skip

When Melda tries to make more graphical interfaces they are actually worse. The utilitarian interfaces were not the most user friendly, but the intern art is not significantly more user friendly and plain ugly. With that said, it is a mild price to pay imo for the bang you get for the buck. In terms of pure value, l think only IK comes close to Melda in terms of matching a balance to Waves selection and quality for the price. I got over pretty but irrelevant graphics when the wow factor of the cables moving in Reason 1 worse off.

The genre didn't bother me. It was his cookie cutter approach towards mixing that gave me pause.

If I was Melda, I would sponsor him not to pitch my products.

Can I use LUNA without an Apollo connection?
Yes! LUNA v1.4 and newer features Core Audio mode, which lets you use LUNA on-the-go with any Core Audio device for I/O, even when your Apollo isn't connected. Note that although you can use LUNA without an Apollo connection, a Thunderbolt-equipped Apollo registration is still needed to obtain and use LUNA
That sounds like you still need to have a register a purchased apollo device or am I reading wrong?
