This was not one of his better reviews. Because he refuses to read manuals or use plugins the way they were intended he sometimes misses the mark.

I don't mind MTM making our freebie NFU. In general they tend to be pretty generous and Tom is a pretty chill guy. He gave me a freebie when one of the products I owned was discontinued. I own bassroom via the freebie but I may grab bundle anyway

Harrison Mixbus/Mixbus 32C and it's plugins are frequently on sale. Maybe not insane SSL sale prices but decent prices none the less.
Little known secret, all their plugins work withoout a license, just not with the fancy/schmansy GUI, just a set of basic controls (like the Reaper free plugins). The ssl or harrison?

I will only consider it if i get one of those ridiculous sales lol

I hope they improve the filters on the EQ.
They sound the same to me

I might consider updating Harrison now. I absolutely hate how they react to even the slightest criticism.

I got as a freebie as well. Like Starship loved the micropitch . i might start using it again.

If i had not just spent money with melda, this would have been my "support a good company" purchase.

Even though I said I am not a fan of installation process, it's not some deal breaker type of thing. I have owned modo drums 1.5 for awhile and have not felt inclined to install. I am sure i am past the 180 days but don't really care. At some point i will use jampoints to download everything and store.

When that plugin scan goes over a thousand you know it's time to seek help.

Wait, someone is saying they have enough plugins and don't need more!!! Ban him!!!
I kid, I kid. I've been trying my best to reign in my plugin and sample buying all year and doing a pretty decent job. I'm MOSTLY only buying things that are dirt cheap that fill a recognized need or are so cheap ($20 USD or under) and still provide some inspiration that it's not a big deal. But it is great to see deals like this continue -- especially after Plugin Alliance was bought. It is a great time for anyone just getting started with so many high quality devs selling effects at pretty low prices (when on sale and compared to prices several years ago or more).I appreciate all the sales. I just feel like i will never fond time to truly master any of them if i keep buying. I will probably get eZkeys 2

I can't rationalize this deal either. I have amek 9099 and few other bx ones including focusrite, ssl j and g. Plus i just got melda easential fx amd ik's total max 3.5. i am beyond good on plugins. That's not even counting all i already had

Knifonium is a great sounding synth!!! Picked that up a while back. I'm going to take a look at the Amek console now. Already have the Focusrite SC and SSL 9000.
Amex console is my favorite console by them by far. It is default in most of my templates

And that comes from a person who just bought 3.5 max. No, I'm not likely to grab 4 anytime soon because , well I'm not Bapu( just being lighthearted. I love that you support these businesses) and I already have too much software that is redundant and funds are saying no. Just because it's not right fit at the is moment does not mean it is a bad deal.

IK is a textbook example of no good deed goes unpunished. Their rep has been enduring neverending negativity for well over 10 years from people who seem to have no appreciation for the fact that IK often provides great value. Yes, sometimes they miss the mark, but sometimes they offer you like 50 products for the price of one. I am not a fan of installation process or how some bundle upgrades work but that is minor to me and pales in comparison to companies like izotope ( in izotope 's defense, I have had reps discount me on upgrades when they realized I had most of individual products) who will charge you to "upgrade" to a bundle that literally contains one more item. IK's product line is so vast that their bundle gives you more than most of us will ever need to create, mix and master most forms of popular music and to then some at a price that is decent even at full price. Let's be honest. We rarely buy these things at full price and still complain. Some of us have multiple licenses of these products that end up resold. I'm not saying everything IK does is perfect, but they seem closer to being "on our side" than most. They even offer decent free versions of multiple products than can often be upgraded with the freebies they often give out. If IK ever folds we will miss them.

This one makes me cringe
He seems like a try hard. I don't have a negative opinion but just feel he's tofu with a weird voice. Not offensive, but with a glut of guys doing same thing, i never look for him

He does have a tendency to speak from a place of ignorance. He never even glances at manual or even glance at quick start guide. I get the school of thought that interfaces should be intuitive, but he takes it to another level. When he is on, he is dead on, but when off he is on another planet.

Bitflipper's review of mspectraldynamics has made me want to get it for awhile but never pulled the trigger

About time. I love ultrqchannel but always hated interface

I have been watching too much White Sea Studio. Plugins without auto gain annoy me now lol

In light of the waves fiasco, i think i will upgrade to the fx essential bundle. I already own Mautodynamic and a couple others so my upgrade is only 61. I don't really need , but kind of want to support companies with simpler licensing policies.

Yes, definitely a Studio One thing. The updated Waves Central installs a new v14 Wave Shell.
Plugins for v12 were fine, but I had to force Studio One to re-scan plug-ins to pick up the new v14 Waves Shell. Apparently S1 fails to auto-detect the new point release for "14.12".
Select "Update Plug-in List" in Studio One (forces a re-scan at DAW start-up). Found in S1 Menu > View > Plug-In Manager.
Thank you so much. I will try later. I was super annoyed.

Maybe scrub all ik references in registry before reinstall?
