I've been a Sonar user since Sonar 4.
I have to use Pro Tools for a project, and really need to know if I can make Pro Tools function like Sonar / Bandlab in certain ways. So far I am struggling. Here's what I'm looking to do:
1) Stack 2 vocal takes on top of each other in the SAME track. Be able to hear my previous take as I'm recording the 2nd. (Sound on Sound mode setting in Sonar).
2)Hit play.. and when I hit stop..Have it go back to where it started.
So, has anybody changed Pro Tools settings to make the workflow feel like Sonar?
