I enjoyed it Wookiee - nice job. A very relaxing listen. This sounds like it goes quite nicely with the other three parts. Happy Easter.
  2. Thanks for listening and for your crits. Per you suggestions - I'm going to turn up the bgvs a bit on the intro, and I'll turn up the lead guitar a bit on the second verse. Regarding the drum track and arrangement - I like it as is.

    Bad Advise

Hi Everybody, Here is another track off of the new album I'm working on called "Relics". Any comments or critiques are welcome, and thanks for listening. Here it is: https://www.soundclick.com/music/songInfo.cfm?songID=14021708
  4. I always liked this song - you guys did a good job on the cover. Not sure about the fx on the lead vocal - it sounds like a rotary speaker.
  5. I didn't think the guitar solo at 1:30 was too loud - it sounded just right in the mix. Cool smooth jazz instrumental - very relaxing. The mix sounds radio ready to me - nice job.
  6. That's a really impressive instrumental - the Taylor sounds excellent. Regarding drums, I don't think it needs them - I like it as is.
  7. Cool song - I really enjoyed the lyrics and your lead vocal. Regarding the mix, if it were me, I would turn up the drums.
  8. I enjoyed the listen - that's a really good song. I liked your vocal and the fx you used on it. I liked the lyrics as well. The mix sounded quite nice to my ears.
  9. Lynn - I'm glad you liked it - thank you very much for listening. DeeringAmps - OK - I'll keep this mix up - good advise. bjornpdx - Thanks for your comment and for listening. By the way, the lead guitar on this one is a Fender Telecaster - I thought it fit the song.

That was intense - I liked it. That bass sounded quite nice to my ears. I thought you vocal was fine - it worked for this song. Interesting video - well done.
  11. I enjoyed the listen - it's a cool blues song. I like your vocal, as I've mentioned before. My only crit - that drum track could use more variation - more fills for example, and bring in the ride on the chorus.
  12. Bajan Blue - Thanks for listening Nigel - perhaps I should add a bit more verb to the lead vocal - it does sound a bit up-front. DeeringAmps - Thanks Tom - I'm glad you liked the song. I'll do another remix but I think it sounds alright as is.
  13. I enjoyed this composition - it sounds like a work that Voltaire would have danced to.
  14. This is a very pleasant ambient composition - I enjoyed it. I liked the vinyl cracks and pops - it gives it a retro vibe. Have you ever listened to Alpha? This made me think a bit of them. This made me feel like I was walking along a harbour at 3AM, so good job there.
  15. That's a cool, funky jam - and I enjoyed your guitar playing as always. I agree with DeeringAmps - that bass sounded really nice.
  16. Very peaceful and relaxing - quite a pleasant composition.
  17. Hi Everybody, This is a track off the new album that I'm working on called "Relics". As always, any comments or critiques are welcome, and thanks for listening. Here it is: https://www.soundclick.com/music/songInfo.cfm?songID=14015517

  19. Hey thanks guys - I appreciate your comments - thanks for listening.
  20. Thanks Makke - I appreciate your ears.
  21. I enjoyed the listen - your vocal reminds me of Waylon Jennings - which is very cool. I really liked the tone of the lead guitar. I thought the drum track could have used some fills - just my opinion.
  22. That's a cool song Daryl - like Lynn says it's catchy - "Love Lockdown" is a good hook. The mix sounds quite nice to my ears. Excellent job on the lyrics - I enjoyed the listen.
  23. Very cool - the mood of this changed around 2:40 - that was interesting. There was some wild stuff going on in there. Nice job overall.
  24. Lynn - thank you very much for listening and for your comments. A bit bright - that's interesting - I used Ozone 9 on the master - I'll have to take another listen there.
  25. Hidden Symmetry - Thanks for your comments - I appreciate it. Wookiee - Thanks for listening - I brought up the kick a bit in my latest remix.
