  1. Thanks for listening Jack.
  2. I really liked the background vocals on this - good job there. This made me think of a 60s rock song type of genre - very cool. Regarding the lyrics - well done.
  3. Hi Bjorn - thanks for listening. Yes, the background vocals are my voice.
  4. Hi Everybody, This is a brand new track for the current album I'm working on called "The Westerly Sessions Volume XI". On this one I played my Fender Strat using TH-U for the rhythm tracks, and I played my Gibson SG using Amplitude for the lead parts. As always, any comments or critiques are welcome and thanks for listening. Here it is: https://www.soundclick.com/music/songInfo.cfm?songID=14444269
  5. This song rocks - very heavy - well done - all the instruments and vocals sounded pro. The mix sounded top-notch through my headphones.
  6. Very relaxing - I thought the Heavyocity Vocalize you used here was quite pleasant to the ears in this composition - nicely done.
  7. There was some real fine guitar work on this one, and I enjoyed the vocal as well - nicely done. Top-notch mix - sounded great through my headphones.
  8. Thanks for listening David.

  14. Thanks for listening John.

    Cold Blues

Hi Everybody, I was going to stop at ten volumes for the Westerly Sessions, but I decided to keep going. This is a track off of "The Westerly Sessions Volume XI". On this one, I played my Yamaha AC3M acoustic - and on lead guitar my Gibson SG. Out of all my electrics, the SG ranks #2 behind my Fender Strat. The SG has a bit of nastiness to it, which I guess is why Angus Young liked it so much - lol. As always, any comments and critiques are welcome, and thanks for listening. Here it is: https://www.soundclick.com/music/songInfo.cfm?songID=14439743
  17. Cool song Jack - I thought it was a good one. What mic did you use for the lead vocal?
  18. That was really cool Mark - nicely done. Top-notch mix.
  19. Nice job - I thought your vocal stood out on this one. This had a 70's light rock vibe to me. I really liked that synth after the breakdown section. Regarding the mix - well done.
  20. I didn't find your use of augmented and diminished scales to be discomforting - I thought the progressions of the notes worked quite well.
  21. Nicely done Bjorn - I listened through headphones and it sounded great - good job on the mix.
  22. Cool track Nigel - I liked the chord progressions of the acoustic on this one. I used to use a Porta Studio 4-track years ago - still have it in fact.
  23. Nice work on this one David - I thought it was a good listen throughout. I thought the ending worked fine - well done.
  24. I thought the groove wasn't quite "in the pocket" - so to speak. But it's not bad - just seems a bit off, especially early on in the song.
  25. I think you have a good song here, but to me the drum track isn't quite in the groove - if that makes sense. But overall, this is a good song that demonstrates your style of composing quite well.
