    Absolutely this!

I have over 10 plugins from Waves and just one instrument from Spitfire. This tells me that I spent more on Waves over the years than on Spitfire, and I still may consider to buy some more from Waves in the future but don't plan buying from Spitfire because of high prices (well unless they decide to sell BBC Strings alone for affordable price then maybe yes :D). I started buying slowly into waves right after they dropped prices to $29, do have have to say more? ;)

for $1 I will buy without even thinking about it and without any feelings, don't even have to care if it will come out great or useless later on

There are 4 libraries by Spitfire that are $30 each, with possibly more on its way.

  2. 1 Euro is a bit of a red flag, he's really trying to sell it as a synth that has features that no other synth has done, and the video is a bit overproduced. "Too good to be true" is a phrase that is screaming into my head all throughout the video.

I am still considering picking it up because of the price, and out of curiosity.

Well I'd say it has it's own sound, like a sonic signature. Do you have a limiter on the master bus? If so, and if it's cranked a bit, back off on that to get some dynamics back. ? Weirdly though, those high violins sound clear, and the synthbass is there yet controlled. It does sound to me like there is a compressor or limiter somewhere that could be taken down just a hair.

Aside from that, it's very inventive in the composition department, and tells of an interesting album to come. Nice work!

The limiting is very controlled, and not even close to hitting the ceiling. I did gain-staging so that the PC76 U Compressor is doing at most 2 dB of GR.

As for the artwork, it's just the default avatar that's being used, since I don't have anything really fitting to use. However, this is Isabel

This is a really nice piece. It has a very spacy/ethereal atmosphere, with good combination of 'build up' (especially with the pulsing bass) and 'release' sections. My only comment would be that most of the sounds feel like they've had the top end rolled off; some of the more open sections might benefit from having some 'sparkly' sounds/percussions.

In any case, I do like the synths in this composition - which one/s did you use?

    Nice job.

On my monitors it sounds a little flat.
As one poster has pointed out there doesnt  seem to be much top end.
You dont happen to have a highpass filter enabled on mixdown on some tracks?

I think it's just how the synths are, I tried bumping up the high end of some of them. I used the Labs Soft Piano, Labs Modular Piano, Kontakt Factory Upright, Palette Synth for the Bass Pulses, City of the Lost from Arturia Pigments 2, Performance Samples Solo Legato Violin, 8Dioboe, Auddict Celestial Voices and Strum GS-2 with the U Rock preset from the Pop Rocks soundbank.

Nice track. I like the build-ups and key changes.

Are there plans for a book(s) or video?

    A full album release

  6. Another one for the Strange Adventures of Isabel Merton series, this is a sad track depicting a heavy scene in Isabel's journey where she's slowly coming to terms with having to kill her own estranged brother in order to save the multiverse.

Their new store is a total lose as well.  I own all four Ark Kontakt instruments but there isn't anyway to register them or for them to even know I have them, since I bought them at Native Instruments when they were on sale.

I think sample developers just aren't good software developers.

I did finally get this all downloaded and installed.  It's worth getting for free, but I wouldn't pay for it.  I'm not sure an orchastra that only plays major or minor chords is all that usable.  It really is more of a taste/demo than something you could use as a final product.

Think you can poke them via a support email to get that fixed?

  8. The Glockenspiel is really nice sounding, so it's worth checking out. Not sure about the Kalimba, as it is quite detuned, and may not be properly mapped to the appropriate octaves in some cases. Be wary though, the standalone may not be able to detect your ASIO device or find the sample library and so won't play notes.

Can anyone give an impression on what the related deal is like? Like, I have no idea what the Master is supposed to be, and the Vibes, I am guessing is a Vibraphone?

  9. Very nice! If you missed the APD deal for Palette Orchestral Sketchpad, this is a nice way to get started with orchestral scoring instead.

(It might even be better suited considering how light it is, if you don't mind the inflexibility that comes with having almost everything baked in.)
