  1. In other words, if I trigger the first column is it possible to have the second column automatically trigger after the first column finishes playing? Thank you for any help, yeto
  2. Thank you. This will be very helpful to a newbie such as myself.
  3. The built-in virtual controller in CbB is just what I am looking for. It will work perfectly. I didn't even know something like this existed inside Cakewalk. I am learning something new every day. Thank you for taking time out of your day to help, yeto
  4. If I understand correctly I can't use the SI-Electric-Piano "keyboard" to record an instrument track using my computer keyboard but I could use the PC 73 to record an instrument track using my computer keyboard? Am I understanding all of this correctly? I am a guitar player so I really don't what to purchase a keyboard. I just need "one" piano key that I can tap and record an instrument track so that I can create a pattern that can be edited in piano roll. So would the PC 73 be what I am looking for? Thank you, yeto
  5. I will definitely study "bounce to clips". Thank you for taking time to help. yeto
  6. Can you tell anything from this photo? If not I can try to snip at a higher resolution. If I do have overlap is that necessarily a bad thing? Thank you, yeto
  7. I am still learning CbB. Does the below photo provide enough information to tell if I have over-lap?
  8. Hmmmmm, I had not thought of that. I am new to CbB and I am using snap to grid so I didn't think there would be overlap. I will check. Thank you for helping, yeto
  9. Good idea. Thank you for taking time to post. I appreciate your help, yeto
  10. Thank you for helping. The event viewer will solve my concern. Thank you, yeto
  11. ...and some do not? Thank you in advance for any help, yeto
  12. In piano roll view is it possible to see notes behind notes in the same track? Sometimes in piano roll view I will inadvertently overlap or place notes on top of each other by mistake. Is there something I can check that will give me an indication when I mistakenly do this? Thank you, yeto
  13. I will definitely take a look. Thank you for taking time to post. Thank you, yeto
  14. Thank you. I will take a look. I don't spend enough time in Matrix View. I am sure I could get more out of the software if I spent more time in Matrix View. Thank you, yeto
  15. Does Cakewalk have some type of "pad" view? I know BandLab's online DAW has a pad view. I was wondering if Cakewalk has the same and I just can't fine it. I sometimes like to bang out a rhythm track using pad view. Thank you in advance for any help, yeto
  16. Thank you for the suggestion. I will give it a try. Thank you, yeto
  17. Is there a setting somewhere that would allow me to reverse left single/double click with the Smart Tool? I would like--when in Piano Roll--to be able to left single click to enter a note and to left double click to set the Now Time. Thank you, yeto
  18. Sir, you are a genius. This worked perfectly. It amazes me how you know all this information. Again, thank you for all your help, yeto
  19. Yes, this has been my experience as well. Thank you, yeto
  20. I am struggling with this feature as well. I am using Cakewalk Version 2018.11 (Build 31,64) One other thing I don't understand is in "Chord Properties" the Finger/Thumb option. When I try to use this feature it does not show a number (1 thru 4) or a (T) for thumb it just shows a black dot when creating a chord. What is the purpose of the Finger/Thumb option if it is only going to place a black dot on the grid? Are you having any luck using this feature? Thank you, yeto
  21. Hopefully , just one last question. Will Cakewalk update my software or just download the 1 file CHORDS.CSC?
  22. I have all 3 files. I deleted some chords by mistake and I would like to have them back. I don't remember which ones I deleted. Would I rename CHORDS.CWC and then hold SHIFT key, right-click the CbB icon and Open the program and this would put me back to "square one"? Also, right now the only group I am showing is Matrix Data Track which contains "no" chords so now I am thinking that maybe not only did I delete chords but chord groups as well. One other thing I don't understand is in "Chord Properties" the Finger/Thumb option. When I try to use this feature it does not show a number (1 thru 4) or a (T) for thumb it just shows the black dot. Thank you for looking in to this for me, yeto
  23. Thank you for helping. Do you think I will get some kind of reward for asking the most questions on the forum? yeto
  24. When I playback a song I have created the first note always sounds "funny" or distorted. Do you all start your songs with a blank measure or something? Thank you in advance for any help, yeto
