  1. I'm relatively new to recording software in general. I have used cakewalk months ago simply recording my guitar playing through a Microsoft camera I have with a mic, it isn't the best but it worked, however, trying to record in recent days (As of right now and a few months ago) it started automatically pitch shifting my recording to a really high pitch, speeding it up twice or even three times faster and adding some sort of reverb type octave effect to it without me doing anything beyond attempting to simply record guitar and vocals. It will also duplicate the track into two. I'm not sure if it's the fault of my older computer software I have, however, I remind you I used it before and it sounded fine. Perhaps I maybe hit something on it to make it do that on accident? I don't think that is the case because I started a new project in hopes it would fix itself and it did not. If anyone has any solutions or insight it would be greatly appreciated.
