If you REALLY want to show your gratitude...find a good charity and donate. I have finally made it out of abject poverty into mediocre poverty, and am VERY grateful, so find a GOOD NON-PROFIT and donate to it, or to a poor family you may know! THAT would be the ULTIMATE way to show your gratitude! And if you know of a REALLY GOOD CHARITY (NOT a Political one), then post it here for others to donate! It's time to help those less fortunate than ourselves! Charity (love) covers a multitude of sins!22 points

Was just thinking: about time for another show of gratitude. Let’s bow to our king. The juan and only. He Who Must Be Obeyed.8 points

If we avoided most of your posts and this section in general many of us would be further away from poverty. 😄6 points

I install Syntronik Libraries to a "Syntronik 2" folder on my E drive. The samples get installed into "E:\...\Syntronik 2\Samples", and then into their respective instrument folders. But about half of the Syner V samples got installed into "E:\...\Syntronik 2\Syntronik 2 Sound Content\Samples. I moved them from there to "E:\...\Syntronik 2\Samples\Syntronik Syner-V" to fix it.5 points

Had to start a new thread as this is great news. Snap Heap will be $29 in June but free until then, as it was free before, but now comes with 30 free plugins instead of 5. https://kilohearts.com/products/kilohearts_essentials5 points

I think it is a toss up on the savings part but I love that these parts of the forum are very friendly. I just have to be careful even if the water is fine 😉4 points

As long as I don't have to kneel before him I'm okay. Why you ask? Easy I won't be able to get up 😄4 points

I'm optimistic.. I like to think that he's made me spend more money on deals I didn't know about, but saved me money on the things I was going to buy anyway, so the poverty ratio is about the same, but I have more plugins and instruments 😎 With the time saving of not having to read my emails I'm hoping puts me just in front! I fear the figures may not reflect that.. but I'm going with it anyway 🤣4 points

50% off is the lowest discount I've ever seen with this one. Importantly, they recently removed the Code Meter protection and it now uses a key file and allows 3 activations. https://www.pluginboutique.com/product/1-Instruments/4-Synth/3201-VPS-Avenger3 points

In most English speaking countries the act of kneeling is an act or sign of respect, obedience, loyalty, or servitude. It is only considered humiliating by the participant if they are being forced to kneel against their will. When one keels as a genuine act from the heart then one doesn't care what others think. Larry's post above suggests he acts as a servant king (nominated by the people no less)...and that is the type of king that deserves a kneel/bow, IMO.3 points

I know the only thing you want to hear is that it is out but I promise we're very close. In the mean time, check out the patterns section video which I believe answers some questions I've been seeing around:3 points

The demo song Zach does at 9:30 is super cool. It's the same demo song on the OTS website, but I found it really interesting to watch Zach walk through how he did the demo. https://www.orangetreesamples.com/products/evolution-rubber-bridge2 points

My favorite story (who cares if it's actually true, ya?): Right in the middle of a concert in Ireland, Bono stops the music and starts clapping his hands slowly. "Every time I clap my hands, a child dies in Africa!" he tells the crowd. Then, someone near the front can be heard yelling back "Then fooking stop it!!!" 🤣2 points

Hello. So I finally managed to find time to upgrade to 5.4.0.x. Ampitube 5 seems to load faster than before. But I can confirm, I am seeing a similar behavior in CPU as others have mentioned on the thread . I tried it in both stand alone as well as within the DAW. Basically, clicking the double amp and then going back to single seems to bring down the CPU usage by a bit. I am running on Windows 10.x on a slightly older Intel Xeon processor. But for most part, have not run into issues with the application thus far and I tried some of my projects in the DAW and the settings are still intact, so that's more important for me.2 points

The documentary Joy Division…The film assembles TV clips, newsreel, pictures of modern Manchester and Manchester in the late 1970s, and interviews. The interviewees include the three surviving members of the group, Tony Wilson, Peter Saville, Pete Shelley(of Buzzcocks), Genesis Breyer P-Orridge (of Throbbing Gristle), Alan Hempsall (of Crispy Ambulance), Paul Morley, Terry Mason, Richard Boon, Anton Corbijn, and Belgian journalist Annik Honoré, with whom Ian Curtis was having an affair. hope you are feeling better!2 points

Yeah, I definitely wish you could display the arranger tracks in the PRV. I also use it to keep track of things. Often I'll have one arranger track with sections, and another with chord changes. As a workaround, I use "Create Markers from Sections". To swap one for the other requires going into Marker view and clearing them all out first. Ideally it would be nice to have a dedicated chord track for this.2 points

"The Kid's Are Alright" is a much better doc on The Who imho. And one of their best performance's can be found in the Rolling Stones' Rock and Roll Circus. https://www.npr.org/2019/07/25/745287835/resurrected-stones-film-finds-pivot-point-in-rock-history This was a pretty great take on the capriciousness of the industry in general...2 points

This is something I find myself doing, but more by accident than design. A short time ago I found myself watching a documentary about Fleetwood Mac - a band that have never been on my radar. The two main things I took away from it were: I didn't realise how many Fleetwood Mac songs I actually knew; and Stevie Nicks is really, really, really annoying.2 points

Thanks, I think so too. The drag and drop (and importing back into MODO BASS 2) was important to me as I don't think I'd use any pattern exactly as written especially for any part that repeats since there are always going to be variations. Now if Ralph could do the bass equivalent of Jamstix (which also supports MODO DRUM by the way for those that didn't know) it would be amazing.1 point

It’s not in sync but myself I can clearly see where the now time is in relationship to the song. I actually gave up on the Arranger finding it very buggy. I still use good old fashioned markers. I would never re arrange a song anyhow. I’m not that indecisive. But it does have a fan club for those who need it. It was a very cool feature that was added, just not something I found useful.1 point

Frankly, I thought that was a very clever way to promote their other plugins and had no problem with it whatsoever. It was refreshing to be able to use any preset with the only limitation that you couldn't edit the ones you didn't own. It kills me to think of how many of the now FREE plugins I purchased to get the over price down on the full upgrade. Still - this is a freakin' amazing FREE offering with 30 plugins AND Snapheap! GREAT price on PhasePlant too! Wow! 😲1 point
