  2. I have updated the Dune 3 Unified Factory Library to include the 40 new factory patches in v3.5. Here's the link https://www.dropbox.com/s/j2gnfsd6zttiw3w/Unified - SA Dune 3.guru?dl=0 You just need to drag/drop the guru file onto Unify and it will update your Dune 3 Unified library. You need to own the full version of Unify and Dune 3 (updated to the latest version 3.5.1.2) to use this. Here are the names of the 40 extra patches: https://www.synapse-audio.com/dune/dune35new.txt Enjoy! (I have also sent these to John who will hopefully incorporate them into the official list on the PG website).

  5. We're excited to present Evolution Vintage Gent, the newest addition to our Evolution series. The sample library features an exquisite mid '60s hollowbody electric guitar. One of the iconic sounds from the British Invasion, the model of guitar we sampled was originally a collaborative design by Gretsch and Chet Atkins--legendary guitarist, record producer, and pioneer of the Nashville Sound. Evolution Vintage Gent is normally $179 USD, but until January 1st you can pick up your copy at an introductory discount of $139. Use the link below to watch the walkthrough video, listen to audio demos, and get all the tech specs. $139 intro price

  6. I guess one way to save an additional 10% ($2.50) would be to purchase TS gift cards, which are currently discounted 10%. So, a $25 gift card for $22.50, should leave you left with $1 after purchasing this. And, the ~200 loyalty points is probably worth about another $1. ~$21.50 if you need to justify it to yourself. Hey, every little bit helps . . . EDIT --> BEWARE, at least for now, the gift cards are not properly crediting. I purchased a $25 gift card for $22.50, and the gift card has a value of only $22.50! Sent e-mails. Awaiting a response.

  8. The EZX (which is on sale) comes with MIDI. That MIDI is also sold completely by itself (if you want the drum patterns but not the drum sounds). If you buy the EZX you get the MIDI package. There are a few Toontrack drum EZX and SDX that include MIDI that is also sold separately. So you have to be careful when buying the MIDI packs least you buy the same thing twice. Here's my list of those overlaps (but this is a few months old):

  14. Memorial This is one of the songs I wrote for my mother's memorial service 8 years ago. It accompanied a slide show that I'd put together which turned out very well. I can't watch it now without getting all blubbery. This is the original version except I ran it through Izotope Ozone and FabFilter Limiter. Thanks for listening/commenting. -Bjorn

  24. I have generally avoided EZD 1.4 libraries (16-bit), but this looks like a good one, and using points, I got it for 15 € ! Done deal! The sale price on Toontrack is 45 €, so this is a bargain addition to my SD3 library.

  25. I'm right there with you on the GAS wrt Amp Sims. In the past two weeks I've bought a bunch of cab IRs, Audiority Solidus 8100, Overloud Th-U, Line6 Helix Native, and now Amp Room. I thought I was pretty much done after Th-U and Helix but this price for Amp Room was irresistible and I'm glad I got it because it sounds great!!! During the IK group buy I thought AmpliTube would be all I'd need. So naive.

Picked up Amp Room after some research. https://www.thegearpage.net/board/index.php?threads/the-super-unofficial-softube-amp-room-marshall-amp-gear-list-and-faq.2306751/ Got bad case of GAS w.r.t. amp sims. AmpLion 1 ($10). Lots of PA amp sims (most at $10, $15). AA ReAmp Studio ($15). Electrum (intro $25 - $20). Guitar Rig 6 Pro (from Komplete). AmpliTube 5 (equiv to MAX after GB). Nembrini ($10 each on iOS). Now Amp Room. All at a discount. Hard to resist a deal.

  33. I have just started using Unify. It is a great piece of software, hard to descibe but really useful and fun to play with. I have Unified a bunch of libraries myself. I haven't submitted anything yet though. Having all those libraries Unified though makes me wish that Unify and a hierarchical library list. My Library list is starting to get a bit unwieldy. I also wish that when you select a library, the Categories and Tags were limited to what was found in the selected library. I suppose I should submit some feature requests.

  35. Like most here, I have a pretty extensive collection of synths and VIs. Some definitely get used more than others. But is it because they are better or simply because I know them better? Whatever the reason, looking back at their usage over the years there have been two clear favorites. 1. Omnisphere 2. Zebra2 Synthmaster is also very good, and versatile. But I only use preset libraries with it (there are a lot of them and they are cheap and high-quality). If I want to program something from scratch, it'll always be Zebra. I've done some from-scratch patches with Omnisphere but sheesh, it's deep. Zebra's a lot easier. (But for ease of programming nothing beats old-school Moog or Oberheim emulations. I often recommend the free OBXD to people who are just setting out on the synthesis learning adventure. I also have the Cherry Audio emulation of the Oberheim 8-voice, also easy to use and currently only $29. But good as they are these synths don't meet your criteria for an all-in-one solution.) If you want one all-encompassing solution you'll find everything you need in Omnisphere. Sure, it's pricey, but you could easily spend far more on multiple synths and still not cover as much ground.

  36. Insane. I got on the train from work, thought "well let me check if there's something new from Sonokinetic". The freebie just opened up a couple of minutes before. By the time I got home it was gone. Luckily I didn't wait untill then and registered on the trainride home.

  43. It seems to work fine for me. Here is a (demo) tempo map with a lot of variations in it. Take a close look at the time ruler: Now I offset tempo to go at half speed: - and look at the result: - as you can see, all of the tempo values are halved, and if you look at the ruler, you can clearly see that it takes twice the time to get to the same beats as before. 47. @msmcleod @Mark MoreThan-Shaw I must apologize for persisting so. For many years ago, I tried to group audio tracks, and I could not do it the way it is implemented in Cubase, that's why I gave this example. But the fault is entirely my own - I tried to create AUX Track from the Sends field, and it turned out quite differently, as I spoke about here earlier. And only yesterday I saw the post of @msmcleod that this is being done from the Output field, and indeed, everything turns out in the best way, as I dreamed all this time. Once again, I apologize, and express my deep gratitude for your time and desire to help! Only thanks to this, I can finally use the grouping of tracks, implemented no worse than in Cubase, which I do not like. THANKS a thousand more times! ✌️ 👏
