  2. Probably just as well they don't make one tuned specifically for harmonica...

  12. It has different patches that all seem to work the same way. Each has 5 different loops that use 3 to 6 (I think) instruments that can also be triggered individually or in unison. I didn't find a way to have all instruments available at the same time. In the screenshot below the blue keys trigger loops that use only certain types of instruments. The first section is usually bass/low drums. The green keys on the right side of each blue section can be used to trigger individual shots (no round robins as far as I can tell). The yellow keys trigger all the three types of loops at the same time, so if you press yellow C all the blue C keys go down at the same time. As far as I can tell you can't mix them up. The green keys next to the yellow keys depress all the other corresponding green keys at the same time. You can probably find more detailed answers in the manual.

  14. As been said before this is a great song....the arrangement is fine....the drum EQ and tones are fine but do need a bit more work, I think using the Piano Roll set to either 1/32 or 1/64 and going over with a fine tooth comb should do it....needs a bit more polish but if I was a producer I would move forward with this song, polish it up and move it to market as I think it has what it takes....your voice, Paul, is really great too, good luck 👍👍🎶🎸

  16. I know some Minoan history and have always found the bull leaping particularly fascinating, and this soundtrack for that is really wonderful. There can be 5 or so elements going on at once, and I can hear them all cleanly in the mix. Plus the rhythm pulses along, infectious. I think you cleared the bull and stuck the landing.

  18. I think I know what you mean Wookiee. When you are going your own merry way, you go down a path that you think is right, but that doesn't mean that it is right - different ears are needed sometimes. I'll try and do a new version with different drums I think.

  28. I think back to my all time favorite movie, "12 Angry Men" starring Henry Fonda. An old B&W movie shot almost entirely on one set - the jury room. No explosions, no CGI, some music, but man the story and dialog keep you riveted to the movie. The story is what made the movie, good writing. Wish we could get back to that.

  29. Tim, love this. You were able to make it cohesive despite being 9 minutes. Having listened to so much ambient, it's nice to hear something in a traditional vein

  30. I'd like to collect together in one place drum maps for all of the Toontrack EZDrummer EZX kits. Others may want to also have drum maps for Superior Drummer. Does anyone have any drum maps for these plugins? I will start by posting one I just made for the EZX Pop Kit. I have some others I have downloaded but need to review/verify them before posting. 32. Their servers, at least for me, appear to be a bit wonky today. When I did get through though, it listed updates available for other products I have, but not LoFi🤪. Wasn’t Waves Central supposed to automatically tell us when updates were available? Oh well..

  35. FWIW: IIRC my Cubase Crossgrade took over three weeks (from either Best Service) . Since I wasn't dead in the water I just waited it out. As I recall they said it was a manual process as Steiny is very meticulous about confirming 'from whence you came'.

  37. This is really excellent: the balance between the breathy pads and the plucked sounds is perfect. It has a real ancient *and* modern (futuristic almost) feel to it,

  38. All sounds used based on provided presets but obviously when one has knobs one must play. The toys used in this were; Roland JD-800 & D-50 Korg Prophecy Arturia Prophet 5 V Superior Drummer 3, Rooms of Hansa, Meisteraal Room, Preset "One" Swamp Ash Stratocaster, through NI's GR 5 and Arturia's Flanger BL-20 Composed, record and Mixed in Cakewalk by Bandlab using mainly stock plugins except for Boz Digitals +10dB Compressor on drums and bass voices. Thank you for listening I hope you enjoy, aftertouch is fun.

  40. BTW, I just noticed that one of your plug-ins is Gain Match. Believe it or not, this little mother eats up more than its share of audio engine. I wouldn't have thought so given the seemingly simple job it has, but even when it's not in analyze mode, it chews the cpu. It's a cool idea, and the plug-in works well, but when I want to use it, I let it do its analysing and then switch it off and use BL Gain set to the difference in levels Gain Match detected.
