I created a spreadsheet of all the products in the group buy. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/e/2PACX-1vQJOiit3wKhbyN87OdguckZzYDo_xz3PYDM2fanVWsyiDCXGzB3Ys3iWYhsDRiTog8fX3G3CYAJPVKA/pub?gid=0&single=true&output=csv Load it into a spreadsheet app like Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or Apple Numbers (it's saved as a CSV file). Turn on filtering on the first row. I found it useful to be able to filter based on category and price (yes, I rounded up), exclude the ones I already have, and plan out my purchases and freebie picks (and prioritize them). Here's what it looks like for me: I hope others can make use of it. Edit: Updated spreadsheet. Fixed price/category for AmpliTube SVX 2 (was upgrade price).18 points

Liberally soak computer with gasoline Wait 2 minutes to allow gas to deep clean all components ignite computer & run to safe distance After computer cleansing process has finished buy a new one, the new one won't have this problem. I'm still no mathematologist, but it might be interesting to revisit the numbers from ten days ago. Specifically: The ~300-and-a-little/day rate has held pretty steady overall, in that the GB hit 4000 right around the end of day 11, and 300 even would have taken 12 days. At the updated rate, with 15 days left, we'd expect to hit 9000 by the end with no extension -- and no bump of people joining later, no one doubling up, etc. I'm sure there's some day-of-the-week variability, but it's perhaps interesting to note that today the rate looks to be around 500, which is a fair jump above the average. Perhaps the quickening begins? (Edit: And I'm certainly no mathematologist, because I said 300x12 = 4000, when I was thinking of 333. The rest is probably maybe somewhat reasonable, though.)4 points

Here's a good post on the KVR Audio Buy & Sell Forum: โHow to Maximize the Value of the IK Multimedia Group Buyโ https://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=8187676&sid=89dd75e7ad627c6f9f41d9d3985a6940#p8187676 It provides specific recommendations. "So, here's what I think you should do. Option 1 is for new customers, while Option 2 is for existing IK customers. Options 3 and 4 are bigger and better possibilities for either existing or new customers." It even links to a spreadsheet that's more complete than the one I had created. Check it out.3 points

@Bapu I hope that the nice people at IK support can solve your request! There are a few tools for producing a list of VSTs on a machine. I often have to check, to avoid buying duplicates (and kick myself when I'm too lazy to check and I still buy an occasional duplicate) I like one that was posted in this forum and generates an excel file (link below), Cubase also has another one, etc.,3 points

Here I go again with three requests for visual features: * The option to change the default coloring scheme from black background/colored waveform to colored background/black waveform. * Waveform outline color available to change in preferences/colors, or waveform outline changed automatically to black if the coloring scheme is changed as in the first request. * Some level of opacy/transparency in the grid lines when those are in front of clips.3 points

I had a similar puzzle once. It turned out there was a duplicate clip buried behind the "real" one. That's why you need to examine the project - it could turn out to be something totally unexpected.2 points

Today we released part 2 of our H949 blog and I wanted to share it with any fellow gear-nerds out there. https://www.eventideaudio.com/blog/aagnello/flashback-72-h949-new-one Flashback 7.1, โDing Dong! The Glitch is Dead,โ took a deep dive into the technology at the heart of de-glitching pitch change, an advance that made tuning pitchy voices and instruments practical for the first time. Now, letโs return from our ramble down Nerd Boulevard and learn some of the other reasons why so many H910 fans sprung for over $11,000 (in 2021 dollars) to buy an H949 as soon as it hit the market. The H949 greatly expanded the sonic horizon of the simpler H910. The rapid advance of technology made improvements impossible to resist and new features possible to imagine. Plus, we had the benefit of usersโ suggestions and pleas. The H910โs designer, Tony Agnello, knew what he wanted and needed to do next. Some things were obvious, others less so. To accomplish some of the ideas he had in mind, his first step was to design a compute engine that could generate as many memory addresses as possible for each audio sample. By designing a primitive yet really fast address computation machine, the H949โs design made possible unprecedented digital muckery, as implied by the front panel control legends: So New, So Cool In 1980, Suzanne Ciani demonstrated her โVoice Box, โ which featured an H949, to the amusement and bemusement of David Letterman and his national audience: Read the whole part 2 of the blog here: https://www.eventideaudio.com/blog/aagnello/flashback-72-h949-new-one2 points

Yes I have seen the counters go back and forth a few times. I blame the page's refresh code for this... or someone at IK toying with us! ๐If the later, I can't blame him and he must have such a grin! But no, Peter wouldn't do that to us... right? ๐ Even if it would be hilarious. ๐2 points

Waves is a black hole. While they have many good and useful plugins, the Waves shells SUCK BIG TIME! And don't get me started on WUP. If you have never installed a Waves plugin, stop while you're ahead. I got so sick of dealing with all of the Waves BS, that I installed ZERO of the couple of dozen plugins I have licenses for when I replaced by DAW computer.2 points

Hmm, been eyeing an external, was gonna go with SSD to match my computer's drives, but really, for storage? That's a good deal. But reading reviews of it on BB site, a lot of folks were able to score this drive for $190 during Black Friday, so I might just hold off and see what is offered then--2 points

Bit of fun and I enjoyed the lyric .. oh and the finger picking was fine to my ears, have to agree with Jack here and ask why the drums ( if any ) are so low in the mix. ( was gonna grab the 'I don't know' line but Tom beat me to it!) All good though cause I like the grove ๐ ALB Steve2 points

Apparently reading first paragraph and only first sentence of each new paragraph to try to quickly do your homework before first period doesnโt work in forums hahah. Had I read about this earlier I wouldโve been less frustrated heheh2 points

What you'll need to do is go into the Launchkey's settings and find where it lets you assign different MIDI channels to the lower and upper portions. Any MIDI controller that supports splits should have that capability. You know what they say: when all else fails, read the manual.2 points

Here's the latest instrumental I'm trying to finish up , no more in my hold file so , I'm finally caught up. Any crits and suggestions are welcomed. I felt it was a little lacking so I added cello tracks and tried to make them sound like a violin . I played my cello then in melodyne I raised everything up an octave into the viola range. The violin range got weird sounding. I'm not sure about a Lot of things on this one so whatever jumps out at you please don't hold back. I usually play clean electric but it sure was fun doing the overdrive guitar near the end. I Really envy you lead players. I really hope I can learn to pull off this cello/violin thing because I sure canNot play a violin. Thank You .. mark https://soundcloud.com/user-810058643/elevator Link now reflects final remix.1 point

Slate support said it was because I had a license of RC Tube specifically and also VCC from the All Access both activated on my iLok. So the direction was to deactivate RC Tube on my iLok and that should fix it. I also found that if I created a preset and specifically used that, it seemed to stick. But that's a terrible work around IMO. But a workaround nonetheless. Hopefully this helps someone with this issue, should it come up again.1 point

It sure pays to be "lazy". I was going to order this about 3 hours ago. A few minutes ago I was informed that as a Plugged-In Member I get it for free. Downloaded and installed.1 point

Cool! I tried adding it to my cart and got the same promo code. I don't understand the concept. Wouldn't be a good idea to advertize this ahead of time?!? When you have it in your cart, you usually have already decided you are willing to pay the price. If it were advertised wouldn't it entice more people to buy it? Confused....1 point

Hi @Creative Sauce it should be live soon. The delay is primarily in updating the website to link to this instead of BA where some stuff needs to be worked out. We also wanted to get more feedback and testing on the tool before releasing it. Thanks for the update regarding the help. Yes that article needs to change as well, because as you point out activation is automatically handled from within Cakewalk itself by virtue of signing in.1 point
