Modern Standby mode is supported by some PC's (typically modern laptops). Modern standby is different from the traditional sleep modes and has to be specially handled by the application in order to suspend and resume hardware properly. Improved handling for resuming from a sleep state in Windows. Cakewalk will additionally reload the driver if necessary, if the driver requests a restart or it stops responding. Suspend and resume are properly handled when a dialog box is open. Handle VST instruments that change output counts If a VST instrument changes its output count, ports in projects previously saved with the instrument could become offset by the change in outputs. This could cause projects to stop playing through other virtual instruments until their instrument track inputs were reassigned. Cakewalk will now detect change in outputs on opening a project and automatically reassign ports appropriately with no user intervention required. Currency / Gold / Salt only have value as 'money' as long as 2 or more parties perceive it to have some agreed upon value or worth. As soon as that perception fails / collapses it's worthless as money. I doubt if anyone here would accept a bag of salt or confederate bills as payment for their wages yet at one time they were both considered viable. Gold currently has great value because of limited supply but if a large resource was discovered its value would plummet.

Even the idea that gold itself has any value is nothing but a fiction.

I have to chuckle a bit at this because historically there have been far more posts expressing concern that the export process does not usually run the CPU at 100%, and therefore could theoretically be completing faster. ;^) Incidentally, I have the audio engine toggle bound to the tilde/accent key, and frequently bop it to stop the engine when making edits hat I don't need to hear, or when walking away from the DAW for extended periods.

@Milton Sica In my case it is because I use an older Dell Inspiron Core i5, 16GB Ram, 2GB SSD system. And as always is the case with laptops the FAN can get noisy at higher CPU %s and a laptop because of restricted inside space can heat up alot faster than a spacier desktop. So I just wanted to have a bit more silence which has been sorted by "Always Stream Audio Through FX" preference set to off. I found when working with a project of 25 audio tracks with efx on most .. the cpu for CW was well up even when project was idol and fan going ( overall cpu in task manager at 90% ). By disabling "Always Stream Audio Through FX" it pretty much sorted this because apparently many efx plugs still "active" in use even when a project is idol.

I cannot vouch for Realphones in particular but I do use Waves Nx for every aspect of my use of headphones and it’s pretty amazing. I made a copy of a mix project that has already been mixed and released just to start over and mix 100% on reference open back headphones using Nx and it was as accurate as it claimed to be. I now have a more obsessive interest in headphone tuning applications so I may just snatch up this sale

Value is a measurement of something's importance, worth, or usefulness. In some contexts, what you say is true. However, people tend to frown if you give them a tin or plastic piece of jewellery. In a more practical context, gold is a very good conductor, which is why you'll find it on audio connectors and in electronic circuitry (even if only in small amounts). If you have any gold plated audio connectors or electronic devices (including mobile/cell phones, studio equipment, medical equipment) that you find important or useful, then gold's value is at least a little more than just fiction.

True; especially when you consider that there isn't enough gold to actually back the total amount of USD out there. That said, I prefer my currency to be stable enough such that if I decide to put off buying e.g. the FabFilter Total bundle for one month, I'll still be able to afford it with the same amount in the following month. Of course the flip side is that I might be able to buy the PA perpetual bundle instead. I also like the fact that if I pay for something that doesn't get delivered, I can start a procedure with the third party that is my bank to get a refund.
