  4. I for one Iโ€™m slightly peeved he is starting by going over old emails instead of looking at our witty comments on threads as we pretended everything was okay, our best effort at posting deals hoping we were doing them justice, and our attempt to quell insurrection/talk of other forum. hahah

  6. If you can afford Standard Fleer is right. The morphing is only on Standard and Pro. Standard is nice to have for some other goodies too! Pro is only for the tinkerer. I'm amazed at all the things you can change/mess-up with the Pro version.

  10. This was a wonderful livestream. It is so wonderful to see the people behind the curtain who have brought these iconic instruments to life. I really enjoyed watching. Now if I can only get the Korg instrument downloader to actually download the right version number ๐Ÿ˜ณ๐Ÿ˜‚

  15. I snagged the True Keys bundle on a P.A. special a couple of years ago for $99. Haven't seen it for less that $199 since. Can't remember what I paid for the Ravenscroft, but it was a decent sales price. Modern U is finally on sale! Woo hoo!

  16. Sure as I said if you want to control energy use then you can do that. Turning off the engine manually could also help. Additionally if you enable the "suspend audio engine when cakewalk is not if focus" feature it will automatically stop background engine activity when you switch focus away from Cakewalk.

  19. I'd suggest trying a few other reference tracks to get a broader view of what's out there in the world. How about one of the best-selling hard rock albums of all time, AC/DC's Back in Black? You may find it illuminating. It was mastered by Bob Ludwig, an industry legend who definitely knows what he's doing. Make sure you use the original, not one of the subsequent "remasters" (gotta wonder what kind of ego an ME has to have to think he can improve on Ludwig's work).

  22. YES, Bloody Brilliant Tom, Bloody Brilliant. t I'm the only one who has "liked" and "commented"? This is a tough room man, a very tough room... one little suggestion; if I was co-producing I would add a little hesitation after each "stop", so it doesn't come back exactly on the beat. A "pregnant" pause if you get my meaning...

  23. This pack is inspired by a beautiful tongue drum. I had recorded a sample pack of this in the past, but I wanted to resample the drum with each individual tongue isolated from the sympathetic vibrations of the other tongues. This instrument produces some rich, full tones with lovely percussive strikes. Been having a lot of fun using it in my songs the past day or two Like always, I have also included a bunch of original samples from the recording session for you to mess with too! 35. Thanks Larry. I bought this last week so wanted to comment I didnโ€™t initially understand how it worked and I wasted time trying to figure it out as none of the videos were clear. In order for polyphonic pitch to work you need a vst synth that supports mpe. Once you enable mpe on the synth then it will work. Otherwise you can only do monophonic pitch bending with non mpe instruments. There seem to be some tricks to get Kontakt to work but I havenโ€™t tried them.

  37. I'm not sure this is the fault of PC-2A... it's a different plugin to CA-2A. I've got both on my system, and I don't get this. It's more likely your CA-2A installation has been corrupted somehow, or maybe you moved it or have duplicate copies ? I would suggest re-installing CA-2A.

  41. Really should find a 64bit replacement plug-in. That said, to open the standard header for plug-ins loaded into BitBridge hold down the ALT key when opening the plug-in UI. Usually the header opens behind the plug-in UI.

  42. I'll let @Noel Borthwick give more details if he wants too, but there is a lot of misconception about the CPU running at 100%. 1. If you are doing real time stuff, like recording for example, 100% CPU usage will be detrimental because it will not be able to keep up and will miss some samples and the recorded audio will have clicks and pops. This is to be expected. If the CPU is too busy doing other things it will not be available to catch every sample of the incoming audio. 2. If you are exporting, which is not real time stuff, 100% CPU is fine. Actually it is what you want. We all want the export to take as little time as possible. The fact that exporting is actually just a non real time calculation, it can go as fast as it wants without causing any degradation whatsoever. In fact it will be at different speed on different machines, depending on their respective CPU power, and end up creating the exact same export. Speed has no real relevance other than how much time you personally waste waiting for the outcome. 3. As for having a CPU sustained at 100% for the time of an export being detrimental, it shouldn't. Many virus checkers can run your CPU to a very high % for quite a while. Unless the cooling is deficient, it is just using what you have paid for. Edit: just saw Noel beat me to it. ๐Ÿ˜‹

  44. Thanks, that's good to know. Clicking on most of the other labels shows the value of the associated control (or does nothing), so I hadn't expected that to do anything else.
