  5. What this plugin does is listens to your track for three seconds (start playing where the loudest section is), calculates the average RMS of the listen area, then automatically adjusts the gain whatever amount needed to push the average RMS to -18 dB, whether it's under or above the -18 dB threshold. When testing with very dynamic material, the calculated RMS seemed to be off from what my eyes were telling me, but rigorous testing with different types of signals shows that your eyes can be deceiving you when it comes to guessing the average RMS, so trust this plugin! Features: - Automatic gain staging to -18 dB - Trim knob with -18...18 dB of gain multiplication in case you need to further adjust the gain. - Reset button that will re-listen to the audio if you started playing in the wrong spot. - Phase flip button to invert the phase. Mac: M1 and Intel - AU & VST3 Windows 10: VST3 DISCLAIMER - KNOWN BUG ON LOGIC RUNNING ON M1 MAC There's an issue I haven't been able to solve that only happens when using Logic Pro on an M1 Mac not using Rosetta. The plugin user interface will freeze when you close and open the window for the second time. This will not affect audio processing and does not happen when you first put the plugin on the track. This will not happen on Intel Macs, M1 Mac running Logic Pro in Rosetta, or any DAW besides Logic Pro on M1 Mac. https://www.patreon.com/posts/52280762

  17. they can't afford me. they probably only hire young guys that are willing to work for cheap. They are based in Montreal. The cool thing about Monteral is property and rent is relatively cheap compared to other parts of the country. So that attracts lots of musicians and art types that don't want to work in 9-5 finance districts.. Hence the city is a little more arty and laid back. Also, all the cool and great concerts come through Montreal.. every summer.

  30. Just a reminder that Softube Tape works as a Mix Engine FX in Studio one, which is a major advantage to use it if you already have Studio One. That being said, these are still VERY GOOD Tape Emulations...some of the best IMO....YMMV

  36. About got PO'd with this because have invested a chunk of change into these synths and romplers over the years. Good products like Wusikstation, EVE, 8088, ZR, and others. Wusikstation is sorta like Sampletank as a reference. Guess you can get over $ 850 off because all 20 of their virtual instruments are on a flash sale for $ 27. Can't see this lasting too long. Demos are available. https://www.wusik.com/w/index.php/purchase/ John

  37. Math doesn't change on you. Knew someone who was very intelligent (willing to discuss the finer points of string theory or such subjects at the drop of a hat) and was miserable as a software support tech (too many variables and nuances) but quite happy after becoming a math teacher. Some people need things to be very black/white.

  38. Yep. It would be very welcome feature. For me lack of compatibility between those two SS products are essentially deal break for SSD... I wrote to them a year ago about it but well... maybe if hundreds people supported this they would not ignore it.

  40. But I don’t like price hikes. Launched in 2013 at $149, now $179. So $69 is actually closer to 50% off.
