Released today .. a new track from ROXETTE with Marie singing. I have to admit I was sad and still am that she died. RIP Marie "Let Your Heart Dance With Me” is one of the last recordings Roxette ever did and is released almost a year after the tragic passing of lead singer Marie Fredriksson. It was planned for the “Good Karma” album but didn’t get ready on time but when Per Gessle started digging in the archives for material for the upcoming box set Bag Of Trix this exclusive track finally got finished. The music video showcases Per and Maries’ close friendship and long companionship that led to the worldwide success. Noel is an extremely dedicated individual, to say the least. What people sometimes overlook is his killer jazz guitar playing. I would prefer that as a Zoom session, I already know how Cakewalk works

Not that great an update but the inclusion of 1 year's Groove 3 subscription clinches it for me (same as MPS3 upgrade last year although that was a free grace period upgrade for me).

"A 5-year-old Oregon boy and his grandmother delivered a toy version of the pointy-eared Force user to a donation center for firefighters on Sept. 12 along with a note that read: “Here is a friend for you in case you get lonely.” Since then, Baby Yoda has been to four wildfires in two states, ridden in helicopters, checked people’s temperatures for COVID-19 symptoms, and even used “the Force” to move a firefighting tool known as a pulaski." Already bought Imprint from a previous plugin boutique deal (certainly like the idea, wish it had more flexibility to soften the attack and then adjust that). I bought Audiority's Pre X7 for about $10 this month so that is another option to look at to pick up the free ones. (It isn't a massive discount off of "retail" but Audiority makes good stuff that is already fairly priced)

It depends on your upgrade path Aidan. NI make a very clear distinction between Updates and Upgrades. You can check which products you have that are eligible for transfer in your account (License Transfer tab), but be careful! My upgrade path was from Kontakt to Komplete 11 Upgrade, then I did a K12 Update (to get to v12) and now I have finally done a K12U Upgrade (which got upgraded to K13U). Updates take you to a new version number but at the same tier (e.g. K11 to K12) whereas Upgrades take you from one tier to another (e.g. K12 to K12U). It's also worth reading carefully the product description of what you buy e.g. my K12U box says "Komplete 12 Ultimate UPG K8-12" so the Upgrade works on Komplete versions 8 to 12 which means that it also Upgrades my Komplete 11 Upgrade. That means that the K12 Update is now superfluous and can be transferred as there is still a valid Upgrade path from Kontakt through to Komplete 13 Ultimate. YMMV as it depends on what you may have bought along the way and your upgrade path. The K12 Update is still of use and therefore sellable to anyone who own K2 to K11 as it will bring their version up to what was included in V12.

Yeah, I’m a little tired getting milked on these Izotpe upgrades. Assuming they’ll have a better deal available anyway by the end of the year.

They seem to want $49 to upgrade from Nectar 3 to Nectar 3 Plus but I can't see any page that explains what is different about them. I already picked up SE2 so this isn't that big a upgrade for me. I really wish they would do something about offering custom upgrade options.

First impressions of GR6 are that it's a really big upgrade from GR5 and not just for guitar (you can filter the browser for effects for different instruments)! It has an excellent new resizable UI and browser. A quick flick through some of the amps and effects and I think they sound a big improvement on GR5. This could actually replace most of the other stuff I own. Just downloading Noire now and feeling like a kid with too many new toys and not enough time to play with them ! Pharlight and Super 8 will be next, oh and Stradivari Violin.

I am hearing a lot of good things about this album and I must give it a listen. Overall I prefer the Hogarth era of Marillion and think F.E.A.R was their best ever.

I would be careful about this upgrade. The reason I’m on all top end stuff and bits of mps3 is covered. They stagger releases and catch you out. I predict ozone 10 (X?) to be imminent too. Then you get double wammied. I feel a little put out on their business model around that. It probably doesn’t help my spending on the Octo UAD satellite lol....

I only went for the K13U upgrade from K12 because of the insane price at Scan/G4M and I realised that I could resell one of the Komplete updates plus all of the guitar libraries that I had purchased separately which now come with K13U and almost recoup the cost of the upgrade. I only have Electric Sunburst left to sell (now sold) so this has got to be one of the best ever deals for me for the amount of extra content vs the cost.

Ummm....I’ve been using some variation of Cakewalk all the way back to Pro Audio back around 2001 so I’m fairly confident I’m adept Trust me when I say the issue I had was bizarre and Noel changed code in order to squash the bug. He’s a hell of a nice guy too !

Doesn't look like anybody answered the initial question? I can't get my virtual instruments to record either? I can hear the drum, but when I record, it does not record? I've got it set up just like the "Creative Sauce" you tube channel says to do and I can't get it to record at all...?
