That's good. Assuming one takes the time to decipher what the heck "*****" stands for. The way things are going in our hyper-sensitive world, jokes may eventually become indecipherable... So a ****, a **** and a **** walk into a bar. The bartender says ****. Sorry, trust me, it's really funny. I just don't know how to tell a joke.3 points

I think I would grab Alternate Keys as #5. Those sounds would be nice to have in the collection. But I will probably get more use out of the clavs. Love that sound!2 points

So a guy tells the bartender to send a drink to that pretty lady at the end of the bar. The bartender whispers "Don't bother, she's a l-e-s-b-i-a-n and the guy tells him to send her a drink. Time goes by and he sends her another then another. He finally gets up enough courage to go put the moves on her so e walks over, sits down beside her and asks, "So what part of Lesbania are you from?" (a rimshot might help). OK here's another.... Did you hear about the blind p-r-o-s-t-i-t-u-t-e? (damn that auto censor) You really have to hand it to her. Notes2 points

I see that all of the Sound Banks are also 50% off. You can access these from within AL4 (click on Store icon top right in AL4) or here https://www.arturia.com/analoglab/sounds I have quite a few already but might pick up some more and also don't forget the free ones if you don't have them already... https://www.arturia.com/products/house_chords/free https://www.arturia.com/products/iconic_vibration/free https://www.arturia.com/products/ambient_soundscapes/free https://www.arturia.com/support/lylissignaturegetlicence https://www.arturia.com/support/hansenshousegetlicence https://www.arturia.com/support/pasttothefuturegetlicence https://www.arturia.com/support/arielproksasignaturegetlicence https://www.arturia.com/support/starcadianssignaturegetlicence https://www.arturia.com/support/percussivedrive https://www.arturia.com/support/bassmusicpowerpackfree https://www.arturia.com/products/dark_ambient/free https://www.arturia.com/support/m_houlesignature There also seem to be quite a few more paid ones since I last looked. With the paid ones I like how they let you try the first few patches from each bank to give you an idea of the 'flavour'. Maybe the Carpenter Tribute with Halloween just around the corner 👹 and also The Weeknd Tribute. Any other recommendations?2 points

Roland Cloud Manager has been updated and more significantly Zenology has been updated to Zenology Pro for all levels of cloud membership. This takes the already excellent Zenology out of ROMplier territory into a full scale synth with a lot of editing potential. I have not had chance to play with it extensively yet but it looks pretty powerful. The Stage Piano soundset has also been updated. I reckon the $2.99 a month is a deal. They keep offering time limited demos of the synths from the Legendary series, as good as these are I am not tempted to upgrade to the top tier membership.1 point

Here's one I've revisited recently . I'm trying to lean a little more to the jazz side. This one is pretty dated sounding but I liked the groove. A lot of work with my controller , and being new to keyboard , I played passages rolling around in my head. Lot of hooks from standards but I don't know which ones. I'd kinda like to know who I've ripped off. Thanks .. mark https://soundcloud.com/user-810058643/keys1 point

Hi, Would be great if we could add Midi FX directly to the FX Bin of a simple instrument track. At the moment you have to either: a) Break the track into a midi track and an instrument track in order to add the Midi FX to the separate midi track. This seems unnecessarily complex b) Use the track inspector, switch to the midi tab, where you can then add the Midi FX for the simple instrument - but then the midi FX is kinda hidden. If it showed in the track FX bin, it would be more obvious, esp. when there are lots of simple instrument tracks. Instead, if the drop down on a simple instrument track FX Bin allowed selection of Midi FX, any midi effects would be obvious by looking at the track FX Bin, without having to split the instrument track and add complexity to the project. Behind the scenes I guess this would be the same as option b) above. Cheers, Matt1 point

I purchased ModoD, for the crossgrade of 199 ($139 plus jam points). When I went in that was Modod, ModoB and B3. t1 point

I caved on Clavitubes for #4. It's actually very good! The only thing left for me was the new SampleTank sound banks. Already had all of the old ones that came with ST4 MAX. Had all of the big ticket goodies at the $199 or lower level. So now along with the MODO B, MODO D, and the B3X for the 1st three, I'm done shopping for the year... 😁1 point

If you wait until BF maybe you can get ST4 on sale (e.g., https://rekkerd.org/black-friday-save-up-to-60-on-total-studio-2-max-sampletank-4-sampletank-4-max/) and then apply JamPoints to further reduce the price.1 point

I've got the reply with my serial so you can either wait a bit more or send them a follow up email and you should get it eventually.1 point

First, if you already own any $99 (or higher) product, you can select the much cheaper “crossgrade” tier. Just log in to know. Second, if you use jam points to lower the price you pay, the original (higher) price still counts. Third, if you buy the usb-stick version, I’m afraid your freebies will still be of the download persuasion. Edith hates spell checkers that bite.1 point

I have the Alan Parson's piano and I like it. Don't have the Art Deco, that is what I'm thinking of getting myself as one of the freebies1 point

OUT NOW: XPERIMENTA KANTELE We are really excited to release XPERIMENTA Kantele, a sampled library of three beautiful Kanteles (including the Concerto Kantele) played by the finnish musician and artist Emma Lomy and recorded in Sibelius Academy Studios (Helsinki). INTRO PRICE 49$ (reg. 69$). Read more > Walkthrough: The kantele is the national instrument of Finland, and it belongs to a large family of string instruments called "zithers". Read more about this wonderful instrument here. “Finnish folk poetry recounts that the first kantele was made from the jaw bones of fish and the hair of young maidens. When the first kantele was played, the sound was so beautiful that all living things started to cry. Their tears rolled into the ocean, and when they touched the sea they turned into beautiful blue pearls.” XPERIMENTA Kantele comes with 3 Kantele, 40 presets and 7 Creative Layers, including piano, harmonics, psaltery, model d pad, guitar and more. Features: 3 Kanteles: Concerto, Round-Ended and Small. 3 Microphone Settings + Mix Extend your possibilities with 7 Creative layers (piano, harmonics, psaltery, pad, etc.) Ethereal and smooth sound 4 Dynamics with Round Robin Smart ADSR (Shape) and Tone Control Website: https://www.xperimentaproject.com/kantele-2/1 point

Both are very good. The Art Deco is a quite unique Blüthner but the AP is (almost evidently) well suited for pop.1 point

@abacab The sound it gives me. It's a doubling effect that I find hard to get with other delays. I have tried before I got ADT. When I got ADT and started playing with the plugin I realized that's the sound I was looking for. It also has several features like the drive and pan controls for each the Source and FX the give this a special sound. I mostly use it on vocals. Lead and back up. But have used it on guitar. Sure it will work well with synths too.1 point
