UPDATE - I had warned of my purchased license failing to be seen by Windows, as a valid license. That greatly concerned me, because I had started this thread, and a bunch of folks purchased the Windows 10 Professional retail license. Sooooooo, it turns out everything us FINE, after all. (Yay) I had done some digging into it, and saw that, for clean installs of Windows 10, it might take some amount of time for Windows to decide that the clean install was not authenticated, and it is only at THAT point, and thereafter, that Windows 10 will allow one of these purchased Win 10 Pro licenses can be entered. Sure enough, last night, Windows 10 put up a notification, that when opened, said that the installed Win 10 was not authenticated, and at the bottom of that window, there were two links: 1) purchase license, and 2) enter a different Product Key. THIS time, my purchased license, from this PC World deal, worked like a champ, and I am now showing as an authenticated version of Windows 10 Professional, and all is well. Bob Bone

When using the matrix view, there is no option for live editing. You are able to convert midi to step sequencer format however any changes are only played if you pause the cell and replay. A piano roll option should be available and you shouldn't have to manually convert it since the file is in midi and editing should be observable as the cell is playing. This would make Cakewalk far more intuitive and improve the workflow of many people, especially Ableton users, this also appears to be easy to implement.

Idk, I still might wait until the holidays to get Neutron 3 Advanced for maybe $99. I don't need it right now plus I'm about to drop $1400 on some acoustic treatment. You just did! You tried to expand specific lane(s) portions and instead got something else! I guess if that's what you’re used to, you might not think of it but many of us old timers remember when this was not the case. An area zoomed is what you got. As for the "promoted" track image. I doubt there's anyone out there who hasn’t had their eyes confused looking at multiple tracks of Lanes with the extra promoted/track simultaneously!

I agree e.g. the ability to edit midi in the piano roll and edit other parameters while something is playing would allow a similar workflow to the ableton session view and shouldn't be too difficult to implement.

Been there, done that. No longer a customer because of that - which is sad to me, because I was a customer since back in the 80's with their paper catalogue.

gimme just something smooth like amp room or something else as a playground and i'm ok ... Ampire from presonus or Mercurial let you see in one pages stomps, amp , cabinets ect .....so i would love to see panels that you can open or close on demand ect .... Like Amps center , stomps left (or upper) , cabs / room right , racks in bottom with mics mixer and selection

Try other routing there s another one stereo , but yep i feel you , softube went with amp room in that direction where you can do anything you want , didn t made the jump gor cpu and i m waiting to see amplitube 5 .
