  1. $20 if you can wait for Musician’s Friend to make another mistake.

  2. I've decided to get serious about my YouTube channel, and do a lot more videos. I've just done two videos on SORA, a library I really love. And which is still 50% off, at the price Larry lists above, so it still qualifies for this forum. In the first video, I talk about the features and GUI. Part Two is me making music with it. If any of you could find it in your hearts to subscribe to fhis frog's channel, it would mean a lot to me. Thanks, Tiger

  4. This one was the latest theme I was making last year (2019) before specifically concentrating on easier on the eyes Themes which I've released a couple of since, so it’s bright, colorful and may be seen as garish by some but as it was mostly done I decided to finally finish and release, someone might like to use it. Free Download Here.... M-Curves Cakewalk Theme A combined total of around 150 hours, sometimes much more, goes in to creating each Theme I make, then there's more time spent to update them whenever BandLab makes changes or additions to the Cakewalk GUI to ensure any changed or new items display correctly and match the Theme, I also don't make all these Themes for myself, it's more of a hobby and to share the end results with the Cakewalk Community for their use and enjoyment at no charge, Any Tips/Donations via the following link for my time and efforts in creating and updating these are greatly appreciated, however small. Thank You! ❤️ https://www.paypal.me/MatthewJohnWhite

  7. I know I posted this before, but this is a bit of a different take. A few folks and I talked about recording and posting some original songs that we've never really performed before and I picked this one. Truth is, I've never recorded an actual performance of any song I've written. I always recorded one track at a time in pieces and parts and once they're done, it's damned rare that they ever see the light of day again. So I took a deep breath and after a couple of run-throughs as rehearsal, I fired up my Logitech HD Pro WebCam C910 and let her rip. As you can see in the video (sort of) I used a Microphone-Parts T12 mic into an Audient ID22 interface and right on in to Cakewalk. I did two tracks, one with me on vocals and guitar (a Martin D-16GT) and one with me doing a harmony part. I did have an audio output from the web cam but I did not use it. It was a bit of a pain getting the audio and video lined up, but mixing is much easier with only one or two tracks. A compressor, a little reverb, some EQ and Izotope's Ozone 9 Maximizer and this is what came out. It's a pretty rough but it was a lot of fun doing it. I'd appreciate any feedback on mic placement, eq and any other recording technique that comes to mind.

  8. Yes both are. Each is different and can be used together. But if you had to get just one? Get the one on sale!!

  9. Steven, You have redeemed yourself with that statement. If you have the P-140 then your collection is good, however, Pigments makes it much better. 🙃😄

  10. This gives people time to hop on and settle in for the long haul. It also lets them know that I am actually prepared. If you ever watch my online tutorials or any other video of mine, you’d know that I give away more than I ever get back. The last few months, I’ve given away 15 or more of my paid courses, 3 or more one on one Skype calls, and HOURS of FREE online teaching. I give WAY more than I ever receive man. (Not mad-Just clarifying)

  14. It was also confirmed by me. I did it. I got Channel X for free.

  15. You want the ChannelX - brings them all together. All of them combined can effect the sound really nicely.

  16. I found that if you buy ChannelX you also get the separates. On the other hand, I also found several posts stating that if you’ve got the three separates you simply have to ask support for the channel strip. This was confirmed by a guy from Lindell.

  17. Got the Lindell Audio 7X-500 and PEX-500 for naught. Already had the 6X-500. Thought I’d also get the ChannelX this way but it’s still a $29 upgrade (which is identical to the current sale price).

  18. Oblesk is great. I almost bought Scalar 2 and this pretty much fills in perfectly. So no need for Scalar 2 unless you really need those advanced scales and chords and whatnot.

  21. Worth a watch if you have Scaler, it uses Scaler 1 but all applies to Scaler 2. And gives you solid background for new Scaler2 modal features. This tutorial really stuck concepts into my mind. It is long but worth the time. Uses Scaler to demo some basic but deep and detailed chord theory. And for more modal theory.

  22. I've done a LOT of FX Chains, but many of them are tied to plug-ins no longer included in Cakewalk. So I don't know how useful they'd be to most people. I could go through them and find the ones that use only Sonitus plug-ins, though, and I also have some preset collections for Sonitus plug-ins and the QuadCurve EQ. However, I DO plan to make a package of the custom background, knob, and switch graphics, which will probably end up on my craiganderton.com digital storefront at reverb.com. But now that you mention it...maybe I should just create a "Cakewalk Care Package" with FX Chains and presets that work in Cakewalk, along with the custom FX Chain graphics. I've been expanding the storefront lately (for example I've just added the Surreal Reverb Impulse Responses package and a couple more books), so a "Cakewalk Care Package of Fun Stuff" might make a lot of sense.

  24. Speaking of General Baboonery. General Baboon got himself caught up in high society after he retired. Being there are two groups of which one, the more ons, have more money to spend on clothes , cars, houses etc. than the other group , the less ons whom have much much much less money. Being a more on he got into politics. I looked up politics in the dictionary and found it's definition. Poly, which means many. And ticks. Blood sucking parasites General buffonery is still with us today

  27. Lynn's comment nailed it! I'd bring the vocals up in the mix. I'm not sure you need that big puffy sub kick on the one. It's a bit of a distraction. Just a thought. I like your voice, and the mix of it, so let it be heard more! cheers, -Tom

  30. Based on more more recent tests, I am moving the "100% pure speculation" out of the realm of possibility and into the realm of extreme probability. It seems to me that the automation apparatus intercepts remote control midi [aka midi learn] with regard to the Inspector-based Arpeggiator in such a way that the "learned midi" controls in the Arpeggiator (a) affect the virtual buttons and selectors but (b) the automation apparatus intercepts them. Thanks to @Astra-Ios for reminding me of this issue as it prompted me to begin re-exploring the problem (and pursuing possible work-arounds that might lead to a fix)!!!! Thanks also to @Base 57 for comments that led me to explore automation lanes--which I never use (except for testing things)--in connection with remote control midi. Maybe now I will be able to do what I had been wanting to do!!! 🙂

  40. FOOTNOTES (probably Notes to self, unless someone else has been down this road before and/or is interested): Based on some personal explorations and several forum discussions over the past 6 months (esp. the last few days), I have begun exploring the midi data flow surrounding this issue, particularly as concerns the flow from external controllers via (1) track settings and controls (a) to the Inspector-based arpeggiator and (b) to a software synth (just because it is more handy than having to boot external sound modules) and (2) remote control midi [aka midi learn] (a) to the Inspector-based arpeggiator's virtual buttons and selectors but not (b) to the arpeggiator's functions themselves. (See also note 3.) So far I have ruled out some possibilities to explain the behavioral differences of the arpeggiator's handling of midi data. As of this morning, I have a new lead. Based on one test so far (more to follow) it seems that because the arpeggiator exposes its parameters to automation lanes, remote control of the arpeggiator's functionality must use automation lanes. So, for the moment this question is still open (unsolved) but I am actively engaged in answering it (See original question.) Based on more tests, (3) seems to be confirmed when (a) a specific Inspector-based Arpreggiator's parameter has been recorded [W = Write/Record external midi data/CCs.] and (b) it is played back [R = Read/play back recorded external midi data/CCs from the automation lane to the Inspector-based Arpreggiator]. Real-time monitoring of the affect of remote control midi might not be possible for all parameters. That is, it might require recording [automation lane = W] and playback [automation lane = R].

I am Prince Tiger the Frog. 🐸 I need to transfer 2.5 million dollars of my royal fortune and a complete set of Waves Plugins (with WUP) to you. But in order for me to trust you, you'll have to give me full access to your bank account. This is completely legit, I assure you.
