I thought I'd share a video I made of the new additions to MTuner. Its a really cool freebee. I've heard the midi out doesn't work unless you unlock the free bundle, but just the polyphonic function is awesome. I hope you find the video useful.4 points

If you ain't got the Fender 2 collection, I'd highly recommend it. And the Fulltone is also a big favorite of mine. I am a suker for chorus, and that TERC is really the cream of the crop for me. You also get the OCD distortion pedal that I think is the best of the bunch in Amplitube. As a side note, has anyone tried that Tube Comp that comes with Amplitube? I love that thing. Good luck with that!! : )2 points

I unplugged the cable in 1990, took the antenna mast down, and haven't watched a bit of TV since. Actually I haven't watched TV since 1986, we were gigging on cruise ships, and there was no TV on them at that time. When I got off, I was so used to not watching, that I found myself bored, so instead I learned how to write styles for Band-in-a-Box, how to run a mail order business that turned internet order, learned to make web pages, learned wind synthesizer, and learned lead guitar. Much more rewarding. I know it's not for everyone, but I'd rather live my life by doing things than to live my live vicariously by watching actors pretending to do things. Many years ago when I was quite young, we played in a bar that had a country music clientele in the daytime, and we were hired for rock and roll night. While setting up to play, this guy almost endlessly played "Together Again" by Buck Owens on the juke box. I got to hate that song. Year's later it's not my favorite, but it's OK. There are only two kinds of songs, good songs (the ones I like) and songs written for somebody else's ears. Here's one we had to play a few years ago that I don't like, "Cupid Shuffle" Notes2 points

Noel ping me about this thread. We released a fix for the ntoskrnl 1903 very high DPC latency issue late last month. Not all of these things make it into announcement posts, so follow me on Twitter if you want info earlier. If after installing that (or the roll-up that contains it), you still get high latency spikes, it's likely something else. Best way to diagnose that is to take a glitch trace and make us aware of it by sending me a link to the Feedback Hub entry. Instructions are on Matthew's blog. Make sure you can hear the glitch when taking the log/trace. Sometimes we get traces with no audio, and that doesn't help. :) https://matthewvaneerde.wordpress.com/2016/09/26/report-problems-with-logs-and-suggest-features-with-the-feedback-hub/2 points

One Theme with 4 different versions with slight differences to choose from, differences between them are explained in the note. Free Download and note here..... 'M-Spec' Cakewalk Themes A combined total of around 150 hours, sometimes much more, goes in to creating each Theme I make, then there's more time spent to update them whenever BandLab makes changes or additions to the Cakewalk GUI to ensure any changed or new items display correctly and match the Theme, I also don't make all these Themes for myself, it's more of a hobby and to share the end results with the Cakewalk Community for their use and enjoyment at no charge, Any Tips/Donations via the following link for my time and efforts in creating and updating these are greatly appreciated, however small. Thank You! ❤️ https://www.paypal.me/MatthewJohnWhite M-Spec 1 -4 Track ViewM-Spec 1 Console M-Spec 2 Console M-Spec 3 Console M-Spec 4 Console 1-4 Browser 1-4 Piano Role View1 point

MODO DRUM is currently not full price, though Sorry to hear you feel that we have nefarious intentions of some sort. Of course we're a business and will sell our products to stay in business, but we're not trying to do anybody dirty by any means. As far as "not winning" I'll have to disagree - even before I was associated with IK Multimedia I knew that IK's plugins were quality and both AmpliTube and T-RackS have improved above and beyond that too. Regardless of what you feel about how we have sales, these are top-shelf plugins. Smaller companies are also making quality plugins but please don't use that as a way to try to distract from the fact that we're making some of the best-sounding plugins on the market. And we're giving people an opportunity to get a ton of them for a great price. Sounds like win/win to me, meaning that people who are getting the deal are the real winners here. We also do not elbow anybody out of anything. I think you'd be surprised by how friendly plugin companies of all sizes are with each other. We like to hang when we can (usually around the trade shows, at least to physically hang) and communicate quite frequently among management, support staff, developers, basically at all levels of company and employee. Plus, just a side note that I feel referring to our group buy and sales by other companies who are also creators of very useful and quality audio tools in such a vulgar fashion is a bit much. Sure, I'll talk you out... wait, no I wont. I'll just agree with this per the above! Tube Comp is an unsung hero. I'm totally on board with the Fulltone, it is a great part of AmpliTube, and the TERC tickles my 80s chorus nostalgia in a way that probably isn't suited for discussing openly in public Good idea on the Wampler extended collection. I'd be itno that too and also agree about the Pinnacle as being a great (but oft-overlooked) AmpliTube effect.1 point

I'm so on the fence with this plugin. I've done did the demo. Have not pulled the trigger. Particularly because I use zynaptiq's Intensity on the master bus already. Do I fear a future where everyone's master bus uses 6 different automatic AI processors like Frei and sonible and oeksound and gullfoss and we just let them all fight it out with what they expand up and suck in?1 point

Thanks to TV, it's now more important what the star looks like than the music. The first MTV video was The Buggles, "Video Killed The Radio Star" and that was true. Now when I see auto-tune kings and queens doing soft-core porn with little if any musical content, it saddens me. I've nothing against soft-core porn if the music is there, but not as a substitute for the music itself. OK, I'm showing my age (as if my avatar doesn't). But I'm a musician, and all parts of the music, melody, harmony and rhythm are important to me. And the nuances in those three are what turn empty notes into music. Listening to some of the one-chord songs with rap instead of melody or auto-tune vocals just doesn't do it for me. It makes the Starship song sound like a symphony. Not that there isn't any good new music, there is some out there, but the majority of the pop music is currently at a low level for actual musical content. Insights, incites and a minor rant by Notes ;)1 point

Ah ok. There's been issues in the past raised about HDMI audio devices causing issues with other audio interfaces. Follow @scook's advice and disable it within Device Manager.1 point

Check your account just in case you might have licenses from previous group buys. Most of on that list I've gotten from previous group buys. So many of my T-Rack from v4 were updated without having to buy new versions.1 point

They will probably extend it and then add another tier. If I could afford I'd get the Axe I/O and be able to get anything on that list. Buying a $99 product limits your extra choices after the tape collection. Most like anything else in that price range one would have. I already have a lot of that stuff from the previous group buy.1 point

If you're working with straight up audio production (especially with today's delivery often being "digital"), it doesn't matter nearly as much as 20 years ago. Sample-rate conversion is significantly better than it was all those years ago. If your'e working with video, it's more convenient to stick with 48k. The latest project I'm mixing was done at 96k. The previous project I was mixing was at 44.1k. While I do believe there are audible advantages to using high sample-rates, there are many other factors that have larger impact on final quality. So, the internal chip is set as the Windows default and the sample rate for Windows is set to 44.1k. After verifying the sample rate in Windows using Windows Settings > Sound > Device Properties Advanced tab. Remove or rename Aud.ini in the %appdata%\Cakewalk Core\Cakewalk\Cakewalk Core folder Then follow these directions https://www.cakewalk.com/Support/Knowledge-Base/Audio-Hardware-Setup-Guide?productId=CSPT100&audioDeviceId=135 If MME driver mode works, then try the other modes selecting the one that performs best for your machine.1 point
