Not a music thread but I’m happy to say I’m back. On the 5th March I had my first verifiable attack of angina. Saw my Dr the next day the 6th. Exactly one week later, just 3 days ago I had a quadruple bypass. I’m up and about in hospital, was up within hours of clearing recovery. Am now in a private room even though I’m a public patient and I’m cautiously optimistic of going home on Monday. Hopefully to start a new healthier life. Thanks for all the kind wishes thus far and maybe just maybe there’ll be a song in there somewhere. Wow modern medicine is sure great. I feel tired but well hoping I’ve got many more years ahead of me.

Hey folks! I think that Cakewalk always had a reputation among composers for it's great MIDI implementation. Nevertheless, now is lagging behind the competition and I think that one of the main factors is an staff editor with no changes in 10 years (if I remember well). I am not asking for and integrated kind of Sibelius/Finale but for more serious and competent notation tools in CBB. Thank you for all of this!

As a owner FC 2 , i 'm not trilled about what i have for regular GTr in FC 1 BUT just for the Bassman 300 it's worth the price !! (and additional FXa, pedals , mics ect) what a great amp , round , precise solid , easy to make it sound sgreat and to place in a mix)

Can someone tell me if this s the correct way to use Jam Points to "buy" credits? 1. Open Custom Shop 2. Go to buy Credits and check out using Jam Points 3. Use Credits to acquire "whatever" in the custom Shop. When you have gear in the Custom Shop, is that available as a plugin in my DAW or do you have to play through the Custom Shop? Once again trying to get my head around the IK universe....

Yup, but can be optionally moved to ilok if needed on many computers. I had troubles with licenses numbers installed (using few machines/profiles and it refused me to work as license was assigned despite of not used in the same time). I didn't want to fight with it every time I am changing profile or machine so asked support and they were so kind to move my licenses to ilok account. Yep, in such cases it has advantages I need ilok dongle anyway for different soft. Only problem not to forget to take dongle with me when I am moving to different city.

Remember that Kontakt 6 is fairly new. If you buy additional libraries (which are more than likely designed for Kontakt 4 or 5), there's always the possibility that it might not work properly in Kontakt 6.
